So Cheney's deferred payments from Halliburton wouldn't increase no matter how much money the company makes, or how many government contracts it receives.

What utter bullshit this video is. I shall try to refrain from mentioning my opinion of you untill after I debunk a key portion of BEB 1.
1. Cheney and his wife Lynne have assigned any future profits from their stock options in Halliburton and several other companies to charity. The agreement specifically states that it is "irrevocable and may not be terminated, waived or amended." This means that the Cheney's CANNOT take back the stock options at a future time.

2. The magnitude of the deferred salary being payed by Haliburton to Cheney is NOT based on corporate profits. Legally, Halliburton can't increase or reduce the amount of the deferred compensation no matter what Cheney does as VP. So Cheney's deferred payments from Halliburton wouldn't increase no matter how much money the company makes, or how many government contracts it receives.

The fact that we are in duscussion son here IS the crux of the matter. We need to start a dialogue with others and get to the heart of the matter. The war in Iraq is going bad and the Bush administration is starting to come to grips with it, but as Americans, we can do better. Where is Bin Laden? Where are the WMD's? Why is Iran still operating nuclear testing? Why is China still a threat to the rest of the world?

All laudable questions..but we need to look to the impetus prior to and including Sept 11th 2001 that brought us to this point as well. CLAIMING the HIGH GROUND and BREAKING THROUGH THE MEDIA BUZZ and HOLDING a CONVERSATION that is DIRECT and RELENTLESS untill the basic questions have been answered. WHERE ARE THE PENTAGON VIDEO TAPES? An attack in broad daylight on a public building and the tapes are not released? 5years later WHY? What dont they want us to see? WTC 7 just collapses..WHY?

Because the greedy corporate culture in our country would rather exploit the workers of other nations for profit, rather than find ways to make our country stronger. WE should put the conspiracy theorists and CALIFORNIA/NY LIBERALS IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS. Our other PROBLEM IS IRAN. We should invade them, put the ARABS in camps, and if we need to NUKE them, then lets do it in Jesus name. Yes, Iran is a real threat. But reformists were on the rise before Bush labeled them an "axis of evil", which nodoubt helped fuel thier need for a nuke. But unfortunetly, evidence proves Iraq wasn't a threat. And our warmongering prez wasted alot of American lives & resources in a counter productive war to the point that we can't take care of real threats like N. Korea & Iran. This shows lack of foresight by our blind leaders..
