if you dont remember Maria from AC1 i'll tell you. She was the women dressed up as a Templar in one of the missions where they were having a funeral, and after you fight her, Altair takes off her helmet. So i hope that helped a lot of you that were wondering who she was

For those struggling with the pole... and two... go on the balcony and then set yourself towards the pole... then press only JUMP and direction (or try without) one time... for me it worked. It remain one of the most stupid big I have ever seen...

For those struggling with the pole, try activating eagle vision, THEN jump at it. I did that 'cause I was desperate (tried getting the pole at least 20 times) and was trying every possible way, and doing it with eagle vision worked on my first try.

I got up the pole by using Ezio's move, running towards the wall beside it then using the LS (or whatever one you use to move) towards the direction of the pole and pressing the Jump button at the same time. I got up every time anyway, I don't know what way you did it....

But the visions of seeiing altair i dont know but in one of the dev diaries ubisoft says that ezio and altair are NOT linked. The keys to altairs libary will let ezio re-live some memories of altair and maybe then ezio is seeiing visions.

Desmond is linked with Altair and Etzio like Desmond father was an Assassin linked with Altair and Desmonds mom was linked with Ezio. Hoped that this comment clears things up. If you want more information read the novels.

Are you sure the child is Darim? Or that Darim didn't have kids? The way Ubisoft explained Desmond's ancestry suggests that Desmond can only sync with people who are his direct ancestors (which in turn explains how it's possible that Desmond can still sync with Ezio despite the fact he probably has at least 12 love children). So if Darim didn't have kids then Desmond wouldn't be syncing with him.

That baby is Darim! One of the two sons Altïar has with Maria. The other son being Sef, who eventually has two daughters too. However, Altïar is NOT an ancestor of Ezio! They come from two different families! Which eventually in time join to make Desmond! Making him a very special boy xD
