It's an instant kill with a big risk. If it's blocked, it's an auto-death for Ganon, and the only way to really make up for it is if you use it again to take out the shield stunned player afterwards. But that's IF they don't break out of it beforehand. On a big stage like Temple, it'd be harder to take advantage of the shield stun if they were far away. More time to break free.

I like Ganon's new Warlock Punch.
