I only just found out about the lone ranger, my Dad recommended it to me since I like spaghetti westerns. I'm a 15 year old girl and I'd chose this TV show over a documentary of the crappy jonas brothers any day. I really wish that they would play old shows like this.
Also, how nice do people look in black and white? Silver for example, I've never seen such a handsome looking animal. Thanks for uploading this :)
I can remember the BBC showing "The Lone Ranger" in the 1950s. Mercifully there were no adverts to spoil the show - there was no such thing as commercial TV in Britain at the time. Jay Silverheels was my hero! Simple adventure, but great TV for its time, and the use of Rossini's "William Tell" for the theme music was inspired.
Old timer that "didn't know my own fightin' abilty" at 20.30 minutes when Tonto held the bad guys hand was none other than Mr. Ziffel from Green Acres.
