This guy is a pain. I remember when he turned into the Wily tank for the first time and crushed the shit out of me. Didn't see that one coming. However, his hardest attack to dodge is when he has columns of black blocks on both sides and sends them from one side to the other.

shadow devil is really hard. what ever u do. do not touch it when it reforms. u will take very heavy to massive damage. this boss is a lot harder with zero then x. also u will take damage if u touch the green outline when it moves.

Really? i didn't know that because zero touched the shadow devil and ow took off a good bit of health. I beat the boss 3 times. 2 times with x. and one time with zero that was such a close call. no sub-tanks and i was on the last bit of health.

*shrug* Hard boss, unless you actually don't beat all 8 bosses before hand. Then, he practically takes no time to beat o-o Shoot the Engima, beat two bosses(one preferably being Dark Dizzy for time stop powers and the sub tank), try the shuttle a couple of times. If you want, go for three times. If you only take down 2 or three, the boss should be really dang easy.

it doesnt do any extra damage- very little extra, but it is his weakpoint weapon. it electrocutes him and freezes the eye in place a bit.

Black/Shadow Devil is Weak against the Tri-Thunder or E-Blade, just as Yellow Devil is weak to Thunder Beam!

after this boss kills you multiple times in a row because you're using Zero and he has a tendency to hit you and drain about half your life in one shot when you get close enough to hit him, both the music AND the boss becoming objects of hate for you ^.^

I remember this bastard in X5. As if I didn't have enough of him in MM1 and MM3 (not so much in MM8 and MM&B), he comes back to raise hell. Bigger and badder than ever, this was, by far, the hardest incarnation I've dealt with in the series.

But this version does a LOT more damage than the original, plus its extra attacks can be a bit harder to dodge.
