  • great

  • thanks...this info is like a missing puzzle

  • Great interview. I always wondered how it all began and why.

  • Thanks for this great interview with both Jay and his wife

  • Jay rules

  • Thank you for this life-changing video. It makes sense!!!!

  • This is great, I got a lot of inspiration just seeing Jay is still strong as he is. And I got a juicer when Jay was on television that came with a breadmaker and his book. Have always loved juicing. Still trying to be healthy and active and take good care of my body. Thanks for the video and thanks Jay.

  • @RawVeganexperience, I'd say one of the most natural foods on earth. Don't underestimate eating plants. There would be certain times of the year and certain regions of the world where fruit was not available. You think God, or nature, meant for us to starve? No, that is why we have other plant life to eat and, in my own opinion, other animals. Smaller animals can forage much better than us, so they eat the plants and we eat them. That's nature. If you want to be better than nature, fine.

  • Yea I think a juicer is the thing to have in this today's economy when vegetables cost 1 million dollars for one tomato and a million dollars for 1 cucumber, really 1 dollar for a tomato and 1 dollar for a cucumber who can efford to juice the vegetables, why it will end up costing 5 million dollars for a cup of carrot juice, dumb idea, best eat them peeling and all leave the juicer to the elite and movie stars, phooey!

  • @Anthony2OK, hey Anthony, I understand where you're coming from and in many ways I agree and that's why I rarely juice fruit. Fruit, for me, tastes great just as it is and I can eat it all day long. Carrots on the other hand, I find difficult to eat but I have found them to be quite healing and youthful for my body when I juice them. I can juice 5 carrots and drink it and enjoy and get a lot of nutrients without all that fiber (fiber is good though). I would not enjoy eating 5 carrots a day.

  • @thewaterfalloflove Probably the reason the mother nature made carrots that way so you wouldn't consume that many carrots in the first place or else your skin color will turn the color of a carrot. I'm sure you drink that much carrot juice and your color, well you will go around looking like a carrot! You have had to notice how the carrot color shows up in your skin color rather quickly. I say throw that juicer out break it up so no one else can find and use it! Big waste of money!

  • @Anthony2OK, there is some good logic in your statement, but you're living in a world where people are living, eating, breathing, etc. things we were not intended. Are you telling me you never eat or drink anything that isn't 100% natural? Actually during the time I was juicing it was the healthiest I've ever looked or felt (age factored in of course). I bet we can find some things in your house that would be better off broken than my juicer.

  • @thewaterfalloflove I wasn't referring to fruit, although them too, I was referring to vegetables. Who can efford to juice a vegetable when a tomatoe today runs a $1 a piece, eat your veggies and fruit throw away that stupid juicer. Useless in today's economy, it's only a gadget for the rich elite to play around with (false hopes). Useless useless useless, Eat your veggies and fruit, eat, eat, may not be anything to eat soon.

  • @Anthony2OK, I disagree. Your words may be true for you, but there are plenty of people who are not able to bring themselves to eat certain vegetables especially on a daily basis. The juicer allows those people (myself included) to get the nutrients from those vegetables without having to overcomes the obstacle of chewing them. The hopes are not false at all. I healed things I thought were a normal part of aging while juicing. A better solution might be to grow your own vegetables.

  • These people are amazing - 100% respect - theyre teaching people how to improve their health and drastically increase the quality of their lives during a very dark age of malnutrition and corporate terrorism....By the way - if you want to record directly off your laptop (instead of using a cam corder) you could use a product like Camtasia - then just keep the camera on yourself and edit the final product together - if you want a link for it give me a shout :)

  • Love this video!!! Thanks

  • How can you take your juice to work? If you have no refrigerator, what can you do?

  • @Greenvegan828 get your work place to get a juicer, get everyone to chip in on veges and fruit and get everyone into it!

  • @Greenvegan828 Throw your juicer out break it first so no one else can find and use it, Its a big waste of money especially in these times who can afford a carrot! you look cute with a $100 glass of carrot juice, leave it to the rich elite to throw away they're money playing around with such foolishness and calling it good! All they are interested in is that you buy a juicer. Read my above comment too! Don't be a victim fooled by all this hype, phooey bologna!

  • @Anthony2OK I met Jay. He is 88 and of course, still alive because of his life style. So, tell me the hype is what? YOUR HEALTH? Let me guess, you are one of those people who are praying for doctors to discover cures for every disease to man? Right? I think you need to take care of your health and quite being naive about it.

The fact that a wannabe needs to make fun of two people who started from nowhere to be icons in health boggles the mind. I suggest you keep your hater comments to yourself.

  • @Greenvegan828 Well sorry you PM me and say out of the blue I made a comment to you,, hey listen up you ask a question about how to juice at work right here in a open forum and I answered you , you didn't direct your question to any particular person, See what I mean I recommend you definitely lay off the juice (waste of money) And as far as a wannabe I wannabe nothing I have everything I need, I know people who abuse there body's all there life who live to be 98 I don't think it was the juice.

  • Now the HYPE is no one cares about your health or about you concerning this juicer, the only thing one cares about you as far as a juicer goes is that they get to tare a piece of your wallet off your NAIVE self and buy a juicer is all they are concerned with, they want your money for a juicer and that's the fact. Ask the 110 year old folks what they ate growing up and I guarantee you a juicer will not be on the list and back then you could actually afford perhaps to juice something. WISE-UP!

  • @Anthony2OK Wise up? Well, how about EATING right and not winding up with some disease, crapping in your pants at the age of 80 or in a nursing home. Have you ever met Jay? So, you compare him to a money grubbing lawyer or wall street type? Jay is a SELF MADE man. He has made it from zero to HERO. You see you are jealous of a man who lives a clean life. He is not self righteous but, shares his way of life to those who want to listen. What kind of JACKASS comes to a site to bash that?

  • PS,, You have placed all your hope in the wrong thing, you only have a false hope and are intoxicated on false hope and in the end you will still be unhappy and ( color of a carrot) and may not ever understand why! Very sad of you to think something is wrong with others when its you. I see you go around downing the wrong people and act like your elite, your pride will destroy you. You are in desperate need of real hope, maybe it will call you one day, or maybe not. Some are just not. Enough said

  • @Greenvegan828

Just keep it in a thermos with a few ice cubes so it stays fresh.

  • @thewaterfalloflove I can not believe you would say fruits are worse than meat for healing. Fruit is the BEST thing on the planet for healing. The top best healers on the planet have used fruits to destroy cancer cells and heal so many & for you to make such an uneducated comment is mind blowing. I have seen people heal from many diseases by eating fruit alone so get your facts in order, you could be hindering someones journey by saying something that has no fact or relevance.

  • best video ty

  • I recall him well. Juices are great, for all they have in them, that does not get destroyed via heating or cooking.

However a liquid only diet is not recommended for anyone, apart from someone with a severe medical problem.

  • There's two modes of thought on what Jay is talking about with regards to fiber. One is that digesting the fiber takes away from your bodies energy - energy that could go toward healing. The other theory is the fiber regulates the sugars in the fruit and veggies which is healthier. So it depends on who you listen to. I think if you are sick, eliminating the fiber is good. But after it's best to have some fiber to keep the sugar spikes down.

  • @animateclay, I agree. I'd take that a step further and say if you're trying to heal, limit the fruit intake and focus on leafy greens and colorful vegetables. Notice Linda said Jay used to juice his vegetables but eat his fruit. My testing on myself leads me to believe fruits are worse than meat when trying to heal the body. If a person is healthy and active then fruits are amazing and cleansing. This is just my personal knowledge and I am not trying to convince anyone that disagrees.

  • Love Jay!!! XOXO Queen Shelley

  • Thanks for the interview...a burst of live information!

  • oh no...I was so proud of myself for finally blending my veggies with water, straining, and drinking! So...I guess I should get my juicer out ;) Great interview!!!

  • One of my clients gave me a Juiceman Jr and I love it! I have had a blast making healthy raw juices. Now my 10 year old son has been asking for juice too!

  • Great interview Ka. Thanks mate.

  • and fiber absorbs cellular and other waste and toxins and sponges it up for elimination! :)

  • thanks Ka great happy interview!! :D like ur hair! :)

  • Thank you for this interview Ka, this inspired me to increase the juices in my diet! :))

  • Hi Ka,

Love your show as always. I do like juicing and blender smoothies too. I have read that the fiber also contains alkaline minerals that our bodies need. Peace always :o)

  • @LoveAglow, I'm quite sure the fiber has benefit. As for alkalinity, my own experiments with different diets has lead me to believe the alkalinity of the body is the most important aspect of health. The most alkaline I've ever been was when I was juicing a lot of greens, water with lemon or lime juice and almost no sugary fruits. I believe fruits are great for cleansing and feeding the body but for ultimate healing, go green and limit even the natural sugars in fruit.
