@blainyrules Really?? im not as adamant about the sound of the cars as most others it seems, they might not be up to what their supposed to be but there good enough as far as im concerned, im more concerned about the RACE itself which takes priority
@WarpPal I agree with that for most cars, but for this one in particular I'd prefer the original sounds, pretty much solely because it's so similar to an F1 engine.
@blainyrules Now that you mention that, I just seen an onboard video of the 905 and it sounds NOTHING like it does in the game, not even in GT5 so I see why your concerned. I didnt have any know on how the cars really sounded so I was completely unaware and content at the time I played it, now im seeing comparison videos all over youtube n such on how the cars sounds are not up to par.We now have a chance to let Polyphony know our concerns directly either through Twitter or the Playstation Forum
@WarpPal Good idea. And there's apparently another patch coming out in December I think, so maybe this idea of using an 'original' sounding 3.5l V10 sound effect could become integrated.
@Slicerer It does because it's the same sort of engine as an F1 engine of the time. In fact they modified it slightly to fit the F1 regs so McLaren could use it in 1994, although not to great effect.
@420witchdoctor Think you're about 20 years too early with that. Racing cars didn't use sequentail boxes until the late 80s or early 90s. They were all h pattern boxes until then.
This is the Underrated car in Gran Turismo

@WarpPal I agree, but the horrible sound just completely puts me off of using it. If they used a realistic sound, well that would change everything.

Is it me or does the engine produce the same harmony as a v10 F1 engine?
Slicerer 1 year ago
@Slicerer Yes you're right, because these cars developed for the 3.5 litre class used v10 engines very similar to F1 engines.
breaderb16lag 1 year ago
@Slicerer The engine was used in the 905 to help the development of the F1 engine. They are essentially the same.
