I bet on CroCop for the simple fact i was getting 3:1 on him! I thought he might have one more great fight in him. And actually, the fact that he threw the left high kick 4 times made me happy. Rashad is a beast and has the speed and explosiveness to possibly take Jones down to the mat. Unfortunately, Jones's length, strength, and uncanny ability to stuff take-downs will fatigue Rashad. UFC is putting out some crap lately, they need to start paying these fighters more money to improve the conditioning and performance of these guys, some of them look like they're hung over or disinterested during the fight. Money is the motivator and I think the action would improve because they would be willing to take more punishment. You do realize that Anderson is even punier than Rashad? He has less muscle on his frame and his reach is pretty much the same.

Anderson however has tremendous skills - great reflexes too. He is more orthodox than Jones, but his striking is far more crisp and his understanding of distance is good enough for him to fight effectively on the inside

But it is tough for me to bet against Jones seeing how easy he defeated a beast like Shogun. (who looked in horrendous shape IMHO)

If you look at jones fights, he leaves a lot of big openings that a great striker can capitalize on. When jones fought jake o brien he took some shots in round 1 because o brien was being aggresive, and Jake O Brien isn't even a striker. Rua has to be aggresive with his striking like he did with machida, jones has some holes in his game and i think Shogun will expose them. If jones gets rua down then rua is just going to get back up, he is very active off his back, he is not like bader or vera

1) Machida was knocked unconscious, it was not a TKO ;)

2) Shogun has been training at 100% for 5 months.

3) Shogun said that his injury didnt hurt like the previous knee injuries.

4) The layoff for Shogun is only 2 months longer than the hiatus between the Machida fights.

5) Shogun has a jitz and striking advantage

6) Wineland isnt a terrible pick but dont hold your breath, grappling-wise he isnt even close to Urijah.
