This is one of the funniest quests in any game ever.

Waking up in the temple on the other side of skyrim and hearing how you molested the statues there was funny, the goat part was hilarious and then came the "wife". :D

I have seen people doing playthroughs where they just pay off or persuade the various quest NPCs, they seriously don't know what they are missing. ^^

@ArmyOfWalrus He can be in Whiterun, Winterhold, Marthal or Ivarstead. And from what I have seen he is only there in the evening from 5 to 7 pm. Go to all the cities wait till 5 pm than go in the inn, he must be in one of them.

@SOEgame Are you playing this on the Xbox? It seems like this quest is bugged on the PC. Tried this a few times, but I can only find Giant toe(1), and Alto wine(2) on the floor. I can only pay her off to continue this quest.

@SOEgame Just figured out it wasn't a bug, but just very very hard to find without a guided arrow. Tried TCL first, because I thought it was somewhere stuck in the floor/wall, then I tried player.additem 000F798C 1 in my console to add this missing quest item. But after I did this I finally saw it on the ground. :)

@FussyMath Same happens to me on xbox . I talked to the priest but she didnt mention anything about the items , so I decided to pick them up myself as it briefy says in the quest overview that I could possibly pick them up to make her tell me where Sam is . However, the only items on the floor are the 2 bottles of wine and the giants toe . Im trying to get the Daedric artifacts achievements and this is the alst one I need . There is 16 artifacts in total though hmmm.

@nheimi99 I'll add this to the info and I think this was posted before to, but he can actually appear at any of the various Inns located in the various hold cities. I'tll also requires some patience as he can still take a while to show up.

@nheimi99 He doesn't start at the in in white run, he starts at the inn in Ivarstead go check there right when you walk in hes to the right, i hope this helps :)

@jamieb774 you have to go to the bannered mere in whiterun and occasionally you will meet a character inside called sam Guenvere. he will challenge you to a drinking contest. (note- it is a random encounter so wait a couple of days before going back in to the bar)
