@alwood08 Pas de souci... y a pas d'offense :-) . Nous avons toutes les raisons de penser que la PAF fait, chaque année, une sortie (appelons ça comme on veut) de nuit pour le baptême de la promotion de l'Ecole de l'Air (Salon-de-Provence).

Donc -- et je rajoute : hélas ! -- l'affaire est entendue. Donc probablement :-) pas d'ET ce soir-là du moins.

@alwood08 Je n'ai jamais dit que les avions de la PAF étaient immobiles ! mais que des conditions aérologiques très particulières ont permis à la lumière (et aux lumières) de se propager très loin des appareils provoquant des méprises chez les témoins (illusions d'optique du type mirage). Ce qui semble sûr c'est que la PAF était en exercice ces soirs-là. Ce qui n'exclut pas la présence dans les parages de petits hommes verts (façon de parler !) venus admirer le spectacle. :- )

@centaurusabcd Eh oui ! Dommage ! Mais il nous a fallu un moment pour en arriver là... car initialement, la surprise était de taille au vu de la vidéo et des interviews des nombreux témoins. Les conditions météo étaient également assez exceptionnelles car elles ont permis à la lumière de se propager à très grande distance ce qui a énormément troublé les témoins (provoquant des illusions d'optique pas encore tout à fait clairement expliquées d'ailleurs).

Pour moi il doit s'agir de "Ratrack" qui sont en train de damer la neige en montagne. Les deux petites lumières doivent êtres celles d'une moto neige. Ayant habité la montagne, j'ai souvent vu ce genre de lumière quand il fait très sombre et que la montagne est de la même couleur que le ciel, on a l'impression que c'est dans le ciel, alors qu'en fait c'est à flan de montagne.

Did the mother ship reappear after it disappeared? Was Night Shot used? Was there any shape visible beside the rectangle of lights? e.g. Circular or triangular shape? Tres, tres bien mon ami!

I don't want to hurt your feelings but one must be very carefull before jumping straight to conclusions. You have to know that military jets were performing acrobatics in the area that night. No serious conclusion can be outlined at this point. Maybe for some reason the aircrafts lights were able to propagate at very long distance from the scene where the maneuvers took place. We cannot exclude a UFO was also present and trying to imitate our military? :- ))) Still investigating. Best.

Happy that most of you liked it. Here are some additional infos. Several (probably related) luminous phenomena happened around Apt during 3 days. Almost all of them noiseless. No airport or landing strip around. Almost all the people who observed them talked about altitudes around 0.25 mille and less!). Seems to exclude aircrafts, choppers... A hologram (or several of them) cannot be excluded.

Yes this surely is something incredible! I have to admit that I have seen similar things also.
