@dickdog1 I don't think so. Most stories that have now been corroborated as fact talk about George's estrangement from John the last few years of John's life. . . . especially when George's autobiography (where there was practically no mention at all of John), released in 1979, really upset John. He tried to apologize to John, but it was to no avail. John wouldn't have anything to do with George. Within a year or so John would be dead.
@rothr Yes...George's wife Olivia Harrison is a wonderful woman! She was the one who likely saved George's life, when he was stabbed 7 times by an intruder in their home on December 30th, 1999! She attacked and subdued the madman with a fireplace poker stick! After George recovered, his fellow Travelling Wilbury band mate Tom Petty called him up and said: "Aren't you glad you married a Mexican woman?"
@countwolfula Oh man, what a horrible, stupid event that was. You try to live a peaceful, private life and some mental case tries to put an end to it. So senseless. Yes, Olivia was there for him at another key point in his life too - after Pattie left him.
And if that's Graham Chapman at 4:23 then I'm a monkey's uncle. The nose is too skinny/sharp, the chin is too square, and the ears are too large. The uniform looks like the one he wore in Python but that person wearing it looks only vaguely like Graham (and only because he's wearing the uniform).
Dennis Morgan seems like a pretty cool guy and these postings are a treat for George's fans like myself. I still remember the Crackerbox and "This Song' videos playing on the original Sat. Night Live in 76'. Believe it or not, in the middle of a kegger in Lincoln,NE, the stereo was shut off and 30 people crowded into a living room to watch them because I kept saying: George harrison is on Sat Night Live tonight!!- thanks Dennis,
Thank you for sharing this with us.

@dickdog1 I bet not, as JL still had his nose stuck deep into the dragon lady at this point in time.

Crackerbox Palace was the nickname George had for is Friar Park Gothic Mansion. He got the name from Sir Frank Crisp, the previous owner.

@wanderer1955 Not so. The name came from Lord Buckley's residence.
