Go self employed as a big issue seller and claim £75 a week for standing on a pitch adn not selling anything - romanians do! They cant sanction you and youre 10 a week better off - all you have to do is sign on at the Big Issue office, book 16 hours on a pitch, then register as self employed for self assessed tax at hmrc online - no more signing on - dont even have to sell a single big issue either just do worklike activity for 16 hours a week.
Anyone have a copy of 'Gravy Training' - bbc panorama 1994 - about the tories Training and Enterprise scheme, where employers got £50 a week for a trainee if there was a full time job at the end of it - then changed their minds, got a new trainee.
Its archived at the British Film Institute but cant find it on you tube or the BBc archive
I find it so hard to understand that the public havent woken up to these lying, thieving, lazy crooks in Westminster. Many should be in prison given the theft of expenses, others have blazenly lied to the public (vote on the EEC membership? not as long as they can get cushy jobs there). The UK should be heading to an Arab type uprising. Why isnt it? There is not a leader who can galvanize the public, or perhaps the population is so overwhelmed with welfare cases, they are afraid to protest.
25yrs self employed construction, finding work is so hard, I am no longer fit enough, I suggest bring down the retirement age to 60, give the younger generation a chance in life, after all not everyone lives long enough to claim there pension,
these b@stards sanctioned me this week.. worked all my life "builder" no work anywhere and these cunts do anything to stop your benifit.. modern day slavery is here!!!
meanwhile the government spent billions bailing out bankers and the jobseekers are forced to live on an insulting 65quid and to suffer shitty treatment at the hands of job centre staff. -- people also forget that alot of jobs have been outsourced abroad esp to places like india where they can get much cheaper labour and these jobs are not coming back!! wake up job centre staff - that could be you facing unemployment when more cuts are made!! wake up and stop blaming the poor for being poor!
whether or not one is disabled and collecting benefits or simply cannot find work, one also has to remember that many uk jobs have been outsourced out of the uk to asia where labour is cheaper than in the uk. these jobs are not coming back, there have also been public sector cuts, no wonder people are finding it difficult. please look at the bigger picture, realise that the majority are genuinely looking for work but government propaganda encourages comments like "scroungers"
@supplementcouponcode totally agree i hate war and fightin other peoples battles, just hate whiners complaining about not getting benefits due to feelin owed or plain just cant be assed, you could work but obviously feel that your owed?? the benefits system is great but shouldnt be abused, the disabled i would pay for all day long they cant help not working! would seem like you justifyng not workers cos we spend more on wars and the tax you no longer pay, contribute or be quiet i say
on the contrary -- when i say that "benefits i do get have already been paid for by myself" does NOT mean that i am prepared to abuse the system. i simply understand all these folk that are in hardship due to no fault of their own making. sure there are some that will abuse the system -- but when you look at the bigger picture all i see is politicians trying to gain leverage by "picking" on scroungers when really the big issue is their mismanagement of the economy-
I had my money stopped because I got confused over the introduction of the work program & signed on the wrong date. They are nazi jobsworth & the only solution I can see is to vote for the BNP or the EDL.
Until you are unemployed you really have no idea.I take my hat off to that bloke for having the guts to speak out.
this government has bailed out the bankers to the tune of billions at the tax payers expense, it has spent billions looking for weapons of mass destruction that never existed in the first place all at the tax payers expense, the amount that is spent on benefits is a drop in the ocean compared to these bailouts/wars. personally as a former higher rate tax payer i consider that any benefits i do get have already been paid for by myself!!!
Job centres are awful places. The simple fact is there aren't enough jobs to go around. Unemployed people need proper help rather than being stigmatised and punished by the staff.
I'm so sick of the Tory's bullshit already. Why are people on benefits demonised? That plum Jeremy Kyle doesn't help the situation by portraying all people on benefits as lazy scroungers - as if everyone else would love to be living on benefits but have too strong a work ethic/conscience/self-respect not to work. I very much doubt he has ever had to live off £90 a fortnight considering his public school upbringing, or that he's ever had difficulty finding a job - what a tool. Just like the rest.
i hate people that say i'm paying your fucking dole with my tax money, and living on benefits aint all that they go on like your living the high life off £90 a fortnight
i used to get £70 a fortnight to live n run a flat pathetic as soon as people wake up
and realize this system designed to fail you the better that goes for the working class as well in the 1930's the goverment sold us to the banks because the country was broke look up jordan maxwell property of rothschilds u tube
for two years a disabled young man has had no income except d.l.a to live on he goes to a independent living collage full time use to come home weekends and holidays as it keeps school times and terms costing £25 each time he traveled back or forth so it was decided that he stay over and come home holidays his mom who is his main carer then loses her money and made to sign on his d.l.a runs out leavening no income mom not had money for six weeks
@Ephona living on hard ship loans water rates phone or any other bills cant be paid got to look for work at 59 years old yet they still send him home for holidays six weeks coming up soon all on £ 57 week after paying back what she has so far borrowed if it comes though that is applied for e.s.a for him but refused full time collage cant sign on hes in collage all day and dont know if with these new rules if he will get d.l.a. again still waiting to hear others at his collage has lost it
i swear i ended up liveing on the streets for 8 months with no money what so ever, no one told me how to get a flat or anything and i was kicked off the job center for not ring up a job they gave me which wes a bus driver... I CANT EVEN DRIVE lol i tryied telling them but she said they already marked me down as missed, in the end they cut me off and that was it.
They palmed me off with the most STUPID unsuited job that they knew i would never be able to do, ASS HOLES
I got tricked last year: Iwas on JSA for 3 months. I then got a full time job. When I attended my last JSA signing they asked if I had been looking for work. I told them I had a job that I would be starting shortly, and produced the confirmation letter from my employer. Because I was honest, and told them I was therefore not actively seeking work, they cancelled my JSA and Housing Benefit, which left me broke and unable to get my car on the road to start work. Honesty didn't pay!
Until the mass awakens this will be our continued road, we need our brothers & sisters to stop believing we’re free, that we live a true reality, when all the while we are being screwed while not feeling a thing other than “Poor Me”.
Back in the 70’s folk got together & created “ The Claimants Union” which knew the Law, and backed up claimants, with massive success.
Has this generation got any nuts, can they fight back, or will they continue the poor me syndrome. ??
£95 bn a year remains unpaid in corporate taxes by large UK businesses ... yet no attempts are made to recover this money ... Reason ... MP's are probably sitting on the boards of these companys ... Bankers hold 2 fingers up to the British public whilst paying themselves billions in bonuses ...
This country is run by corrupt people who only see the working man as a product ... They look to make a profit from us as they would any product they sell ... The time has come to take to the streets !
...and now they are going to make disabled people get re-assessed.. wtf.. your either disabled or not.. this is what happens when the law allows an un elected conservative government into power to make the poor pay and aflicted for a debt that firstly wasnt theirs and was caused by rich bankers!! and now we can magically afford to pay for another occupation of a foreign country. ffs target the rich not the poor and meek.. we as human beings are failing each other. its so very tragic!
just get workign tax credits instead fo jsa - register as a big issue seller....

“Nought You Can Do” ..??
Create a group of fellow sufferers, fight back.
JobCentre Workers, Shame on You, where is Your Humanity.
Folks, the threat of loosing our jobs “in times like these” gives power to the villains who control us All.
Stop supporting them, if we all refuse to work, their fraudulent thieving system cannot work.
Bring them to their knees, say no to their deceit & hate of our countrymen
Support your brothers & sisters.
