If you cant appreciate the piece or the genre, at least don't ruin it for those of us that can, alright mate? I watched this last night and loved it, just as I loved "New York I Love You".
@InservioLetum Who put sand into your vagina? I never said I didn't love the film, I absolutely adored it! I just didn't think putting in a little joke about a 5 min scene was considered an act of spoiling it for "everyone"... If I didn't like it I wouldn't have come back to the trailer to put in a little comment. Sorry if I ruined everything for you!
Aside from your harrowing misassessment of my gender, I suppose fair enough. I tend to get totally caught up in the world of a movie (think Avatar Syndrome, but since I was 8), and knowing what's going to happen bursts that blissful bubble when it does. Feels roughly like taking a glass panel to the face four feet left of the glass door you thought you were traversing.
This movie was great! i just loved it. French cinema is fantastic. and if you watch the american copy New York I Love You...omg that was TERRIBLE! and I love New York :( but that movie just bad.
I heard they are doing a Tokyo I Love You version...
I saw the trailer yesterday & for my AMAZING LUCK, it was on showtime today at 8am. So, i was actually REALLY sick & i didnt go to school today, & i woke up at 8 to watch it. It made me smile, cry, i even suprised myself when i saw goosebumps :) But. this movie... its amazing.♥
Its been along rime since I've watched a foreign film or Independant movie of any kind. I've thought of watching this on tv several times when it came on.
@Pooky1991 Seriously you should go watch it, what hooked me was the mime story i saw on tv, i thought it was creative. Now for some reason every time i watch it on TV i always catch that particular scene when i scroll through the channel
@SpadeCouture I'm sure, yes. But it's interesting how they don't even LOOK at you. If they do, they're superb at hiding it. And I know, Europeans are more standoffish than Americans, so they WOULD hide their curiosities more.
@sp4eva1 They just have different codes really, are you american? what you consider "open" may not be the same in france, the french just don't smile as much, they don't want to do anything that could be considered fake, which makes tourists think they are unfriendly...
There is also a French version of this song (by Fiest also) called "La même histoire." The lyrics are a little different, of course. It is a beautiful song.
Isn't this a series of mini-story movies? In my French class we saw a few short films, and I see parts of them on this trailer. Did it come into theaters as a series of short films? Alore, so original if so!
@ManWhoLovesTheMary The producers asked 18 different directors to make 1 short film each roughly 5 minutes long, I think. Then they just pieced them all together as an original work....you can find certain shorts all over youtube though so she/he probably just showed certain ones...

Because the mother and her baby live in the suburbs; they have to wake up early because she must bring her baby to a kindergárten where a lot of babies are waiting the whole day for their parents; then she takes the metro and has a long trip to take care of another baby who lives in a rich quarter. So she leaves her baby in a sad and poor environment and takes care of this rich baby the whole day inorder to get money. So sad!
