I love how everyone has their own techniques. However, it doesn't matter how you mold the hair this is not a healthy weaving technique. I prefer to do a Quickweave on a weave cap. It is a flawless and healthy approach. Also the worse you can do to hair, natural or extensions is to use marcels. Ceramic styling tools are essentail in Hair Care.

I told agree wit you about the stocking cap techinque. I deep-condition my hair and then add some carrot on my hair then i braid 6-8 cornrolls before I put the cap on. I don't put gel on the hair because it's drying and very damaging especiallty since the hair is not getting much oxygen already becuz of the hair weave and stocking cap.

However I disagree wit u when u say marcels are damaging. Most them especially good quality ones r made of the same metal/iron as the ceramics styling tools.
