@ThisDream It's true, Weiss was not German. He was born in Grotkau, Silesia. Today that is in Poland, back then it used to be part of Austria. Not German.
Actually I really like this tempo for the prelude. As the "easiest" Weiss suite to play I think it is often taken too slowly. At this tempo it sounds more like a Bach keyboard prelude.
It resembles more a guitarist's interpretation, though I recognize he is certainly in possession of an outstanding lute technique

Lovely playing; I think it could be just a little slower, it rushes past some nice moments; but still great.
