My brother did the same thing to me. Not on the same terms that he was away in iraq or anything but when he got back from the 2nd phase of becoming a Marine. I'm glad he wasn't in a bad place but not seeing him for 8 months hurt a lot, I couldn't imagine going through what that little boy has had to.
