I was raised on old country music. Brings back fond memories and brings a tear to the eye. I think of my childhood in Galaway, Tennessee, and I think about moving back there with my children. Sigh. I miss the fireflies. There are none here in Colorado. :-(

But there will always be a "North" and a "South," and east and west. It's part of American culture, (and most country's cultures for that matter) to take pride in their particular region. When I served in Vietnam They didn"t call me by my name, they called me ALabama. proud then and proud now. Such history from this state. Saw this group across river in Columbus Ga, in 1979 , back then they were known as wild country.
