That's an OK cover version, but the problem isn't with Taylor's singing. The vocals are fine, but there's a couple of problems:

1. the drum track, although very good, is too heavy, overpowering the rest of the instrumentation - dial it back a notch or two;

2. the guitar parts are not nearly as good as Petty's version;

3. that horn part in the middle sucks! Lose it.
