the cheapest u can get this car new is for around 22K US $ which is the LS, not sure how much canadian $ that is sorry...but if ur going to get a camaro v6 i recomend u spend a little more and get the 1LT with the RS package thats around 26K$ u should go into chevrolet . com and use the build your own feature to get a clear idea of what ur gonna spend for what u need :)

i think the goal as far as the cars cost goes is for the base v6 to come in around 25, the base v8 around 28. then the higher trim levels will break 30's, maxing out in the high 30's from what i have heard

actually the first "retro" car i can think of was fords failed attempt to bring back the t-bird a few years prior to the mustang. and the redesign does seem to share some design elements with the camaro so the camaro clearly played some impact on fords update of the mustang
