They won't ever have Sally in the games because she's not part of them. She's not part of the real story of Sonic, Sally's only part of the SatAM cartoon and the comics that were INSPIRED by the games. The games are not part of the SatAM cartoon or the comics. In the games, Sally Acorn does not exist.

...how's about you read the manuals? NEVER is she mentioned in Sonic 1-3's manuals even in the American versions. The only manual she's mentioned in of the old game's is Sonic CD and that's because Sega of America wanted the players to think that Amy Rose was Sally so that they could think that the cartoons were actually part of the story. They even do the injustice of calling the pink hedgehog in CD Sally the Hedgehog. Sally Acorn does not exist in the games.

Sonic & Amy make for a good speeding team, especially on rail heavy levels. If you notice, Amy follows Sonic with hearts, unlike when shes with others. In Amy& Sonic, you can she she plays at her best, with a massive arsenal of good moves.

Yes...Amy makes Sonic go faster, what better motivation for Sonic than a hammer weilding stalker who is psychotically in love with him, any who challenges her self-contained ideas gets the recieving end of her magic hammer of pain
