@NickMini54 Choose whatever element beats the monster you are fighting at the time. Fire>Wind>Earth>Electricity>Wa­ter>Fire.

For your oska, it depends on your money situation and if it is awakened or not. If it has beastly awakens, upgrade it yourself. If not, save your money for a long time and buy a pre-made god mode set.

@NickMini54 Your best bet is either the tower or the Watangkas. The tower has a lower level monsters, the Abraxas or Gullah, that you would want to go for. They hit hard, so you need to make sure to element your suit properly, but the spawn is packed. If you have a good rm and you know what you're doing, you can keep up some really good continuous aoe and level quickly.

The Watangkas are just generally hard, medium spawn, and a long flight away into D3. Not the best.

Its a bad thing just so you know. It happens a certain attack and running speeds. It makes your arrows NOT hit the target, meaning you waste time shooting several more arrows. You can compare how many shots it takes to gather in this, which is when I was at a bad speed, and my speed gathering video, where I am not.

Hmm well you shouldnt have to worry too much about getting a +8 set... I mean, it will be harder but you can still aoe xD

As for making money, theres no monster in particular that I can think of, but... wait for another drop event, like the vampire one we are having. Make a nub char and start farming the items. If you do it on the first day for a few hours, you can make a few hundred million. Pretty boring, but worth it for sure.

You can try gianting once you hit 75 as well. Go for the giant Greenmong. It will be pretty hard and somewhat slow, but if you can live then its pretty worth it. +6 rings(15m+ each?) and guardian weapons, which sell for a ton.

What im doing is a made a mage full int with +67 int full equips and am farming plugs +9 (2 for my ranger) at rockpellers xD havent got any yet but im sure on the weekend i will get some cause i will have more time, oh well i have only been doing it for about 25 minutes now lol.

I think the average is one every three hours, with a gb party its every hour and a half or so(20-25m an hour?).

It should be fine if you dont mind a few less monsters. As you level, save some money and get +28% defense unless you want to put it all into a godly ranerz. But that setup should last you ^^

That's true, but you can always buy a pre-upgraded oska. That doesn't cost so much, but I agree with you. If he isn't very funded he can better try to get a nice awaked +3 set.

I bought it. Its better to buy if its pre upgraded, its cheaper that way.

Right now its best to just awaken sets instead of upgrading. A normal awakened set is generally better than a +5 set these days.

The arrow glitch isnt a good thing, it makes it hard to attack.... Also, its has to do with your running speed and attack speed. Figure out the math yourself though, it takes hours of testing.

The cw set is better then the level 59 npc ranger armor, but the level 71 npc ranger armor is better the the cw set. So if you can afford it, it will give you a temporary boost over the average ranger, but you should end up selling it after 71.

Just practice a lot. I use my mouse precisely now, and can pick out one specific monster in a tight clump very fast. You just need to know how to use it.

One way if your good at it is too use the Escape key on your keyboard and the mouse in conjunction. Click a monster, fire the first shot, then hit escape and target the next mob. Usually faster then clicking the ground, and it works well for me.

Well, I'll recommend using the 'emote' "attack selected target", just one simple, fast click on the monster, and after that one, just use F2 or something.

At level 80 I'm leveling there also whit my ranger, 35 STA xxx DEX

+6 Okas +16% att (I, (and most other rangers) recommend attack, attack is nice for ranger, cause you have quality (Ranger, fast killing) and quantity (RM, much tanking) For Rangers is attack needed (Fast killing) and for RM's HP (More tanking) Def in this points isn't ***

In this point, you don't have that high hits, and a RM that's healraining, what gives enough HP,

It depends on how you learned to click things. The way I learned is that its easier to do a 1/4th second double click then using both hands, but I know that people who learn the other way can do their way in 1/4th a second too, so try for yourself and find out whats best for you.

Also, defense is best for rangers not using the 105 set. It has been proven time and time again, check the flyff forums. Its way more effective, especially later on.

At the higher, lower, and medium levels is the defense more effective. At the low levels your so weak that hp would barely add 400 hp tops, att wouldnt even kill them one skill faster, and defense will help you tank several more and much easier.

At medium levels the damage you do as a ranger is more then adequate to kill the monsters fast, and the hp is nice but not as useful as the defense.

At higher levels your weak armor will take a huge toll, level 103 mobs against a level 75 set.

And because they have a lot more attack against a lot less defense, that means that you will need as much def as possible. Your block rate is still not max until you get the 105 set, at which point you get(from the set) +15% block, +15% hp, and +15% defense. That means that its much better armor, and with almost a full set of 4% cards for the defense, and then you can focus on attack.

My rager is 86 now it has oska +8 with 21%def, i have to agre with u, def is a lot more useful since the blockrate is quite low even with low sta build i get a lot of unblocked hits, if u want attack piercing buy yourself speedos +3 ;], or use 2 RM

Well, I'm using 2 healers, my own rm and a leech rm. I can easyly go to Mutant Augus and take the whole spawn, whit 16% attack, the blockrate is quite high, the highest you could have is 93, I though, and that is what you'll get fast whit dex & set & PB =D

I think the max block rate is 96%, plus your evasion rate, and if you have the same element as the mob, and then you deal with the monsters hit rate.

Pb=20%

Cats Reflexes=12%(?)

+8 Set=10% Block

Level 105 Set=15% Block

So even with all of that, it is still hard, but not impossible, to get a max block rate. But thats assuming you have a 105 set, which you wont pre-95. Which is when Defense is effective, which is what I was arguing for I think.

Well, yes augus are water. But for rangers, fire is the only element you want on your bow. Thats because out of the four skills, Fire Arrow, Ice Arrow, Piercing Arrow, and Arrow Rain, the only skill that has an element is Fire Arrows damage over time. By adding fire, your adding damage to the only thing that would make a difference. Even though the arrow you gather them with does 200 less damage, you get a big boost later.

It is your choice though, frankly I dont know what grand chase is anyway. Play whatever is fun at the time, or swap between the two. You wont like ranger if you dont like lots of hard work, and it will take plenty until you get your block rate to kick in. Ide recommend playing grand chase though if you arent really psyched for grinding and leveling up.

You buy an azria ticket 7 or 15 day from the gpotato cash shop store, or from another person who purchased it from the cash shop and decided to sell it for money. They get really expensive though, so you have to train there every day for it to pay itself off, and then some.

If your looking for a cluster with ranger gear available, go for Lawolf. It has a half dozen sets floating around and some good bows, which if you get some cash will help you a LOT. Unless you want to spend quadruple the amount to plus your own set ;-D. But for now try working on your ranger and get used to its layout. Just make sure when you get your job change to test on only one volt at a time please, get used to the cooldowns.

And two, the best method to keep your cooldowns under control(and this is arguable, everyone does it a different way) is to use this skills cycle:

Flame

Arrow Rain

Flame

Ice

Keep ice in between each skill to make continuous casting.

He got around 1% per group, though now I get 1.2% for a nice sized group, since I can take around 30 at once.
