I guess that in LA Noire 2 Cole's hidden son has grew up and he's now a cop.

But if that fucking Kelso is going to be the protagonist, I'll laugh.

I don't see peoples problem with this game. I loved it. I cried so hard. It was emotionally captivating. Some say it's boring, well go and watch Hannah Montana or something. I love this game so much. I think it's brilliant :)

Cole's death shows the redemption to the life and the pain that hounded him. His trials came through the fire he wrongly used on people, and his end came from the shifting tides of the world he brought. His actions influenced his life to the end and that, to me, is true poetic justice.

@Astrex2301 Marine days. Anyway, in accordance with his orders, he was looking for anything that may be housing Japanese soldiers and found that big cave. He borrowed a flamethrower from another squad, and attempted to infiltrate and investigate before taking further action, but due to his own poor wording Ira torched the whole thing prematurely. It turned out to be a civilian hospital, and Cole then ordered his men to end their suffering. This pushed Sheldon too far, so he shot Cole.

People don't get it...if you guys feel bad that Cole died, you therefore have an emotional connection with the character, which means Team Bondi and Rockstar have done their job, the same Rockstar has done with John from Red Dead Redemption and Roman or Kate from GTA IV. And a job extremely well done, I might add.

I finished LA NOiRE on Saturday evening. I am sooo impressed with it. I can't wait til I buy the DLCs. Shame that Phelps died in the end, although I hope Rockstar use Kelso for the DLCs and future sequels etc as I kind of liked his style of investigating a little more than I did Phelps. I just wished that Rockstar had allowed gameplay of the Kelso character earlier as it seemed a little rushed when playing him towards the end. Such a great game, sad it's ended.

If you use some common thinking, the wave was coming at such force that it would have without a doubt killed Cole. When the wave hits him, it continues forward, and is able to blast up multiple sewer grates from the ground into the air. Cole would have been rendered unconscious, and he would succumb to drowning.

I felt that the gameplay could have been like gta and red dead, in which after each case, u can go and roam around and save at ur safe house and explore los angeles and after u complete all the cases it could have been done by when u roam around, just like red dead and gta, and of course roam as jack kelso after the story instead of nothing

I'll admit it, I cried a little at the ending.

L.A. Noire has had by far the most immersive storyline ever, it really felt like I was right there. The face motion scanning was so great, it puts you right there at the scene.

Whether Cole Phelps is dead or not is a mystery that can only be solved by Rockstar. Regardless, Phelps was a hero who will live amongst video game legends such as Duke Nukem.
