My family came from just outside of Schwarzenau in 1740. We have been back to visit and it is deeply moving....beyond words. To be in the place where our ancestors were baptised in the River Eder. And they understood our Pa. Dutch quite well. Hoffentlich wir gehen zuruck in 2012.

I was there. Believe it or not, you got me on the picture several times. At the start of the video, I'm closest to your camera with the gray hair, medium blue shirt, dark ID tag cord hanging down my back. It was my first time to Germany, an awesome experience. I've been with the Church of the Brethren all of my life, and was baptized in the stream at age 12. Being by the Eder River, where the first eight believers were baptized 300 years ago, made me feel as one with them. More videos, anyone?
