I have a song that i'm trying to bounce to CD and I've done every thing you said it seems really easy,everything works like normal but when it's threw burning i go to play it but it don't play i look at the disk and there is no information on the CD as if it did not burn what do i need to do i don't know what's wrong please help.

I just selected 9 tracks and the entire length of the song and I clicked on bounce to disk then a window appeared with a time remaining of the progress of the disk and when I took the disk out of the computer and tried to play it again it read as a blank disk.. How can I get the music from my computer to a cd? Please help. I am really trying to understand how to use my new pre tools software

@JackMac1968 protools won't burn to disc.  you need to create the audio mixdown, then burn it to disc with disc burning software. We can help you with that, if you need it.

@JackMac1968 I'm not sure why that would happen. Nothing that we outline in the video would make that happen. Have you restared and reloaded the session?

@ipodvideonano you'll need to convert the mp3 to a .wma file using windows media player or another conversion program. Protools won't export to .wma.

thanks for the video. Too bad Avid/ProTools makes saving as an MP3 so difficult, unless you're willing to pay extra cash. I hate being nickeled and dimed by companies. Free Garage Band saves to MP3 better than ProTools 8. Shame on them!

If you don't drag and highlight what you want to bounce, it won't work right? I tried bouncing to disk a few days ago and I did everything except that.
