  • wait... wheres are you? sand box? or something?

  • good music xD

  • this looks completely awesome! this is what scratch 3D should be!

  • im using the bunny script project, works in a new box. but when i use it in a sculpty it wont work for me :(

  • I haven't played with sculpties. You might try attaching a tiny or invisible box with the script to your sculpty. They should move together. Good luck!

  • i still cant get lineSegment to work in teen second life

  • there's some updated info at the blogpost

  • how you do that at 2:11?!?!?

  • pls answer

  • Awesome finale. BRAVO!

  • DOO DOO DOO DOO DOOOOOOOOOO!

  • this looks good, I find the LSL very confusing so hopefully this will make life easier :)

  • linden scripting isnt too hard.

  • I'm glad the linden script works for you. But it doesn't work for everyone, especially for people who are not already programmers.

  • scratch and second life wont snap together?

  • have you tried using the tutorial? it has pretty detailed instructions. There's a link to it from the S4SL home page

  • what i bring both games up and put them beside each other they don't come together and so it wont work

  • it says in the tutorial that you need to create a program in S4SL, and then click the "copy linden script" button, and then create an object in SL, and then create a script in the object, and then paste in your script. The tutorial shows exactly how to do this, step by step. Did you try that? What happened?

  • mine wont snap together... why not?

  • can you describe more about which blocks you are attempting to snap together?

  • THAT LOOKS AWESOME.

    dood, cool.

  • I love this :D I can make soo much scripts soo fast! I made very good working and realistic elevator with it! Its soo easy to use! :P

    "Linden script"

    LOL!

    :)

  • nice music! :D

  • ~4k views wooh!

  • WOW Eric this looks brilliant! I am going to have a look and see if it will allow me to move an avatar on text-spoken command.

  • You can use S4SL to make objects (not avatars, though) that move when you type in chat messages. Good luck!

  • ooh you replied so quickly :) I just emailed you :D

I would like to discuss my idea with you to see if it is possible with S4SL. So far while I have looked at the snap together blocks I have failed to see how this tool will help me in my mission...thus far...

oh and btw I love the backing acapella to the video...did you do it? I would like to find a copy to listen to as my making-stuff theme :)

  • Right on, look at THIS gem I came across browsing YouTube today! Thanx for doing this, Eric. I want to give it a closer try soon — and right in time, because I was looking at easier ways of generating scripts for the non-technical-but-very-curious-and-eager-to-learn.

  • Thanks Torley! I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences with it. Maybe we could collaborate on a tutorial. :)
