Gave your vid a mention in an article at my site - Stealing Jun's Falcon. I'm sceptical about using LB to help keep the Falcon in the dropship's fork though. Combining it with LT (which I think you need or LB does nothing), I didn't notice any stabilizing effect, so I don't use it. One other thing. Escaping seems much easier with the *second* dropship, and it's a shorter ride.

Only way it worked for me, on Normal: Start at Rally Point Alpha, kill the first two jackals, and then get the plasma pistol and follow the video. Also, I was able to get in and out of the falcon.

This has been patched, the falcon is immune to EMP nowadays. There may be other ways or spots but correct me if im wrong about this exact one.

@hunt3r6947 It still works, check out our other video where we show you how to get 2 Falcons. There's one thing you need to remember, kill the 4 white Elites near the beginning. Once they are dead you'll get a checkpoint and then you should be able to shoot the Falcon down.

@DrKarot7760 This was not patched two weeks after the launch of Halo: Reach. I did this with NO MODS many months (in December) after the launch. I don't know if it is patched NOW, but I do know, when I did this, there are two different Falcons. You must time when, how, and where you go to get up the hill. Sometimes the Falcon is "chargeable", sometimes it isn't. I did this with two friends fairly recently (December)

@Funcaldunkal That is weird.... I know you can not always shoot it down, if you start at rally point alpha like in the video follow the same path as we do then you should be able to get it.

@Funcaldunkal You have to make sure the Falcon flips over, as soon as it's upside down the driver will fall out and you are able to get in.

This is such a great trick. Reminds me of the Halo CE days when people found out how to get on top of the hills in the second mission and explore the whole area. Until now, I didn't think any of the Halo sequels could recapture that wonderful sense of freedom.
