Wow, what's Asia been up to lately? Aren't there to versions of the band? One featuring John Payne, and the other with the original members? Anyway, they disappeared after that horrible release Astra with Mandy "Krokus" Meyers on guitar.
Did you not see what happened? Steve was playing the intro on the ES-Artist instead of the Fender steel because the slide for the steel was missing! You can see the roadie's hand lay the slide on the steel well into the intro.
Agree, the slide guitar is an important part of the song. But it dosn't translate well live. It may take a few performances to get it right (less gain).
