It might be a better plan to chart a course forward rather than force defensive tactics against industry backed plans like Keystone XL. President Obama made the right choice with the Keystone pipeline, and now it’s time for him to get serious about recovery by implementing science-based climate recovery plans. He should fulfill his public trust duties and agree to cap and then decrease CO2 emissions in order to protect earth’s climate for future generations.

That was caused by the fact that people had been receiving loans they shouldn't have been qualified for except that banks, etc. had been extorted by groups like ACORN which was represented by people like Obama. You're only asked to work for a short amount of time and then once it is done they wont need you anymore. I bought a small piece of land and built it up with my own hands and saved me about around a quarter mil. I make around 160,000 a year(not includ tax). @ladylordess I have been looking it up since i commented on your post. All I am finding is that the Average price per gallon across the US as of Jan 1 2008 was between $3.45 and $3.65 per gallon. I was cross country traveling monthly around that time from Indiana to Colorado, and that is about what i remember. The cheapest gas i remember was in Omaha, and it was still above 3 bucks

That was caused by the fact that people had been receiving loans they shouldn't have been qualified for except that banks, etc. had been extorted by groups like ACORN which was represented by people like Obama. Seriously, when it comes to job creation this pipeline would be no different than mowing someone's lawn. You're only asked to work for a short amount of time and then once it is done they wont need you anymore. It would only create 6500 jobs (which is a pitiful amount) and they would only last till the pipe is finished. I bought a small piece of land and built it up with my own hands and saved me about around a quarter mil. I make around 160,000 a year(not includ tax). And spend more than half using it to teach kids from schools buying small but cute technology and inspire them deep into the future. Nothin wrong with shareing the wealth and using it for good.

I was cross country traveling monthly around that time from Indiana to Colorado, and that is about what i remember. The cheapest gas i remember was in Omaha, and it was still above 3 bucks

There are ways to ensure it won't leak, and thats always the same wacko concern ain't it with you environmental tree hugging wackos? It doesn't matter that it would have created thousands of jobs that this country desperely needs and it doesn't matter that we need oil security. from foreign oil. Its clear that politics takes more concern over job creation.This was the most monumentally WRONG decision ever made by any politican but of course we needed a true leader with some backbone.

aBOUT AS TEMPORARY AS ALL THE "shovel ready" infrastructure jobs Obama proposed years ago, the ones that he gauranteed would keep unemployment under 8 percent but didn't. Of course, they don't count all the people who are unemployed and have given up on seeking employment. Again, the environmental wackos won over meaningful job creation in several states. We needed a leader with some backbone to make a good decision. They had enough time to determine that they'ed lose the hippie vote.

Take, for example, the largest non union corporation in the world, Wall Mart. They are non union. Wall Mart has forced over 48,000 American factories to relocate overseas. Unions had no part in that. If you believe unions are the problem, try living in a country where they don’t have unions.
