  • all in all, the lt1 car was a 4 or 5 grand car. he had around 3k put into it so 7k or 8k. the cobra most likely cost 10k at the cheapest. my argument is $ for $ chevy ftw. thats just my .02

  • @edmolio Cobra most likely cost 20,000 at the cheapest , I have found one for 15,9 but it didn't look that good, and the damn pulley was rusted ..... wtf In this area ,STL they don't go for less than 17,000 in just fair condition.

  • @jerron07glasson i know an lt1 is capable of good power with some work. But come on dude were talking an 03 cobra.. cobras beat the brakes off of ls1 most of the time so this lt1 had to have had ALOT of work

  • @FordGTmustang2000 I think think its a 50 /50 deal. The only way either car can beat each other is if one doesn't get proper shifting or one has an extra 40 rwhp or more.

The only possible way to stuff more air and fuel into the combustion chamber is by the use of forced induction (ie nitrous, s/c, turbo, or compound turbo sc) SO NO, A N/A CAMARO IS NOT "STUFFING MORE AIR INTO THE CYLINDERS", regardless of the port work.

  • Sorry but it must have more than a cam, even if you were spinning, you didn't start to pull at all even after spinning. I beat cam only LT1s with my bolt on and geared 96 cobra how the hell do you get raped by one?

  • @konastinky06 you know i wanted to run from high mph like 45 or 50, i remember you asking me why all the blown cars wanted to run from such a high mph, it might of been a 25 mph start which is the exact opposite of the race i would want, but i still spun, i'm not saying that's why you beat me though, you would've beat me regardless.

  • HAHA your right about the block weighing less but that about it. You forget to mention the lighter drive shaft, better heads, better intake, better cam, better coils and just a better car stock for stock or even mod for mod. This lt1 is bad as hell and fast as hell and I can respect that I just think the LS1 is a better platform to work off of but you saying the only difference from the ls1 to the lt1 is the iron block is just plain STUPID stop being a fanboy and go do some homework.

  • um lt1 are legens 2 i guess you dont know really about the chevy engines, lt1 only differencs to the ls1 is that lt1 is iron block just wieghts a lil more, but its better when you put a super charger or turbos the resis more and can help contain more boost, so you fail

  • yes the car has stock gear and the stock rear , even stock suspension , in the heads cam package i have about 2200 then bolt on and small little things ! i have 4.10s ready to be installed , just waiting for axles
