sorry I have no idea how to tell age. I had mine since she was about 3 months old so obviously I'm keeping track but without that knowledge, I wouldn't have a clue.
they say when it gets older you can tell by the length of the tail, but it's much too young here to know. I'm only guessing it's a "she" for now. Tortoises are pretty much land only, most turtles have webbed feet for swimming. That's one way.
I love we tortoises i had one when i was a kid I miss him...we gave it to the Zoo I dream i go back and kidnap him ...but hes prob happy there with all his wee friends
dont let them out in a garden theres more risk of them dying go to a pet shop nd buy a proper tank for them theyl live well longer nd plus the tanks are onli like a £100 for a 4foot tank probly less for a smaller tank but tortoises grow quick nd a 4foot tank should last them all their life.
you can tell from when they hatch normally, the tails can tell you but also the shape of their shells.... females have flat underbellies, males are curved, female tales are shorter and males tails are longer there are other ways of telling but they are hard to explain!
yep working on that, cut out the mazuri, feeding mostly Dandelion and Hibiscus now. Better late than never, but would have been better from the start. Thanks.
i have a bearded dragon named speedy

Yeah, but you probably don't want to be messing with tortoises and that speed of light thingy. ;-)
Funny you mentioned Peanuts, 'cuz that's how I "found" you out here >>> searching for Linus & Lucy. :)
