  • did you know that if a pilot ejects 3 times, hes never allowed to fly again? and not because he crashed 3 planes or got shot down too many times. its because your spine compresses with each ejection

  • This vid went viral on United Kingdom

  • Merci Martin-Baker pour votre siège, je me rappelle toujours mon éjection de Mirage-f1 le 31/01/1987 quand je voie ce filme. Encore merci Martin-Baker.

Thank you Martin-Baker for your seat, I remember my ejection from Mirage-f1 on 31/01/1987 when I see this film. I say again thank you Martin-Baker.

  • Fuck i read the real erection bad with me ...

  • see that fire and smoke usa ??? that is the money of the tax payer burning

  • this does not happen when it's a dutch pilot LOL

  • Lol @ the guy saying his legs "fell off"

  • that is f-26/3 haha

  • @SuperTulumba i typed that in on google to see what it was and found pics of dwane wade =/

  • @liverpool0690 you look nice men!!!:))

  • is that sukhoi behind f-16 haha

  • F16 real erection...

  • Korean license-built F-16C Block 52. Most likely a bird strike, as F100-PW-229 has the reputation of extreme reliability. It doesn't go "boom" all by itself.

  • Thats for sure a F-16 folks

  • This is not F16

  • that is a F16

  • @Rickey85 Looks like it's really an F16 on a closer look. I've had an impression that the wing configuration should have looked different from this angle.

  • @protector1990

You obviously don't konw what an F-16 is. learn before you say anything...

  • @176zulu Oh, sorry, I obviously have no right to say anything just because I was wrong... Sorry your "majesty" :P

  • fake !

  • @BloodThirsty1986 lol cant tell if your just saying its fake so someone could respond to you or if your......eh dont care any more

  • @rubberbandman200

    Aircraft fires are unusual

  • It's fun, though.

  • Real Ejection apposed to a fake ejection!

  • Mode One - No drogue deplyoyment. Below 12500 MSL and below 250 KIAS

  • well that sucks, at least the pilot ejected safley

  • @mskiUSMC an ejection is NEVER safley! you'll shot out with 200 metres per second after an accident or mistake in plane...most times in very low alltitude, hit ground with 6 or 7 metres per second if the chute is fully deployed. sometimes ower water, sometimes over the forrest. okay, the video is not the best, in this way i agree, but no ejection is safley! never!

  • Some of the comments on here are pure entertainment. Better than Letterman!.

  • 0:08 his legs fall of

  • How do legs fall of? I've never heard of legs falling of a human in my entire life.

  • I think that would be the extras of the cockpit window...

  • LOOOL! That was funny!

That was the seat man! x_x

  • its the chair he sat on. when u get injected the whole chair flies with u and then u pull the chute and get rid of the chair

  • you do not 'pull the chute'

    your chute opens automatically

  • There was a backup manual release handle on the seat. It was designed for emergency ground egress. Never heard of it being used after ejection.

  • nope that's the seat.

  • yeah i know that's not a very big halon reservoir, unlike the 15, that shit's a beast, but i'd prefer to fly a 16 over a 15 anyday

  • So planes do not like auto self destruct when the pilot ejects?

  • nop

  • If the pilot ejects, the plane is already going to die, badly.

  • Yeah, but often times, the army would go and blow up any remains so that the enemy can't reverse engineer it

  • Dude its not Command & Conquer when a tank blows up and a egineer steals it

  • in Delta Force there were missions to blow up crashed fighter jets, this has nothing to do with c&c(there the planes don't survive the fall :P)

  • lol I mean the Mammoth tanks

  • You never know how much of the plain will remain intact after impact. If the nose section remains intact its the radar, avionics, navigation, radio , computer and so system to the enemy to study..

Imagine a F-22 crashing into Iran.. i would bomb the wreck until there was nothing bigger than a needle before allowing them acess to all that technology

  • For example: the F-102 wasn't permitted to deploy to Vietnam until after it was determined the enemy wouldn't get vital information from a recovered fire-control system (the targetting system).

  • this is why self destruction after ejection or crashing would be a good idea

  • They do

  • Since when do plains have radar, avionics, navigation, radio or computer? That seems like a huge accomplishment for a sloping piece of land.

  • hahahaha..

Ok i screwed and misswrited "planes" as "plains" .. i failed

the worst thing is that i noticed it when i posted it ...but youtube doesnt allow you to correct messages..only to delete them.. :(

  • not always. Sometimes the plane is trimmed out and makes a graceful, survivable landing. T-38 did it at Sheppard and an F-4 did it at Eglin

  • reminds me of Donny Darko a little heh

  • wtf, what happened to the halon??? fire supression system my ass..you know someone got "random" drug test the next day lmao.

  • halon only does so much (CO2 is better in this case), but a little squirt of halon ain't gonna do much against 30,000 pounds of jet fuel on fire.

  • madre mia q pasada ai q tener webos pa salir del aparado en propulcion y a esa velocidad diria q va a mas de 400 km hora.soy piloto y solo tuve una averia en el timon de cola y pude aterrizarlo estando de maniobras toco madrea.

  • grow up, its a website for comments, who cares how its spelt you stuck up knobs

  • What about your horrible punctuation?

    I'll fix your sentence.

I'm also kidding about "pwople". I obviously meant people. Also, instead of "piissing" I meant to say pissing.

    Sincerely, David

  • Hello, guys this is Grimreaper7779. I had a sentence with very bad grammar and punctuation in this video. I only did this to see how many pwople would be piised off at me. It turns out that everyone was. Anyway I was kidding...

    Sincerely, Grimreaper7779

  • Rods @ 0:14

    They are an unexplained enigma.......

  • so you would stay in a plane, that by the looks of it was plummetting to the ground and on fire?

    yeah...... No.

  • english isn't your mother-tongue, right ... ?

  • yer what?

  • please learn how to write proper english

  • Hyvä duuni oli pelastautuu turha ite on kuolla kun peli oli jo jostain syystä(mistäköhän?) menetetty:P

  • yeah there was no way in savin the plane

  • good lunch

  • He got out thankfully, but I hope the plane didn't end up killing someone when it hit the ground...

  • some birds are just stupid suicidal bitches

  • LOL ROFL!!!!!!

  • wow! must be happy to get out

  • wow get the fuck out

  • hahaha

  • not function handle. This is recorded broadcasting TV camera who making documentary about birds. pilot eject after aim to out of town.

  • At least he has something to contribute.

  • what happen in the air

  • He farted near the engine.

No, sorry I dont know what happened, but its a nice vid. He is ejected from an ACES II seat. It's said that a pilot can manage 3 ejections from those in his life because of the high amount of pressure that his back/neck is experiencing.

  • thats not true, the pilot can eject as much as he wants/needs. but when he does, the pilot shrinks about a full inch every ejection, they get a full medical examination, if there are to much physical symptoms than he's not able to fly in a F-16 anymore. excuse me for my bad englisch, i'm dutch

  • Well its true in Norway, and i seriously think its international rules following from the ACES II productors. Imagine what shrinking 1 inch per ejection does to your spinal cord?

The thing is, few pilots get to eject even once in their career, and i've never heard of pilots needing to eject three times:)

  • Hmm, I think you're right about the rules. That all ACES II users follow rules from the productors.

I think it is pretty painfull to shrink a full inch in less then a second, butt the pilots allmost always lose consciousness because, they eject out of the plane with about 90 miles, if i'm right.

Butt indeed, only a few pilots eject more then once in there pilot career.

By the way. does ACES means Advanced Concept Ejection Seat?

  • My dad works on AFB Volkel and in Holland the pilots may eject as much as they want, here they get a full medical examination and, as i said before, pilots shrink about a inch every ejection, but most pilots grow back to their original length, the other pilots are not. those pilots may eject for 2nd time, but as he shrinks a full inch again, and not grow back, they are not able to fly a fighter jet again.

  • nigga a human is a human.....a pilot can only eject 2 times before he is grounded, everytime he ejects it crushes his spine.

  • remind me when im an air force pilot to only eject when im about to crash or below 1000 feet and cant recover.

  • You would eject too if your engine was on fire and there was risk that your plane would explode before you got that far down

  • yes it does. Oh he works with F-16's at Volkel? Ive met some guys from the Dutch solo display team, that is stationed at Volkel:)

  • yes, he's a firefighter there for about 26 years now. I know the pilot from solo display team, he's really good, does Norway have a display team?

  • No, but RNoAF does display at airshows.. Yes I spoke with Aarts, Sheik, a couple of weeks ago in Bodø Airshow, theyre nice guys!

  • Does RNoAF also have a colorsheme, like Dutch solo display? Aarts is really a nice guy, and his crewchiefs are too.

  • Nono its not a display team, its F-16's from 331, 332, or 338 sqn thats showing off some skills if there are norwegian airshows. Its not a official display team if you catch my drift. You can watch some RNoAF if you browse my vids.

  • Okay, I understand what u mean ;), I will look up for your vids. do they only fly at norwegian airshows, or also in europa?

  • Only in Norway, its not acrobatic shows, its more of an "introduction for the RNoAF" with formations, military-manouvers, and show-off in general) My videos doesn't contain clips with RNoAF in airshows, but with cockpitcams etc on missions!

  • Okay, i saw it on your vids, Also cockpit footage from the J-055 :P. The formations and manouvers look a little bit like that of the Thunderbirds of the USAF, if i'm right? Only the Thunderbirds are crazy enough to fly with a distance of 3 feet (or less) of each other ;)

  • Yes but in norway the mountains are 3 feet away:)

  • 0.o, thats crazy too, they must practice a lot on that, I saw it in one of your vids ;)

  • was that aircraft hit by a ground fire or something?

  • engine malfunction

  • I'm no pilot, but I'd guess bird strike
