The singing sounds like Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) for the screaming vocals crossed over with Howard Jones (Killswitch Engage) for the clean vocals.. It's a very odd combination to hear ;P

@Andyb42508 I dunno, these cleans are pretty powerful, with a really nice and subtle vibrato which you don't hear often in -core. I reckon he'd be good in a power/speed metal band as well as something like this. That's not to say that Howard and Jesse aren't great singers, too, especially Howard. Jesse got better after he left KSE, imo.

It doesn't sound just like KSE but it does seem to follow the same formula and the clean vocals sound pretty similar. I don't think the comparisons are completely off base. With that being said, I'd listen to this over modern KSE any day.

To anybody who enjoys this music from this band be for warned. No one in this band is the original members. I used to manage the band when it started out with a couple of my friends playing in a trailer behind Larry Olsen trucking in St. Helens Oregon. Back then a few member got traded out or kicked out and some left....Towards the end there was one band member still left and they kicked him out. This band still plays all the sound the originals wrote and still carries their name.

@uscmarchingband Yeah. That's one of the things I noticed as I was listening to this is that some vocals sounded like Howard's. I do like KsE. They were one of the first bands that I listened to that were touching into the metal genre, but I do like this band as well. They're pretty good.

I would also like to add that it saddens me deeply to see that all my friends that put there blood sweat and tears into this band had it stolen from them. Every person in this band is a thief and does not deserve any credit. They got big off of somebody else's dream. To anybody in the band that reads this.......FUCK YOU!

@jophis82 Who gives a shit? They're obviously all better than the original members. Sam is a way better guitar player than Travis. Your friends will get over it; if they're talented musicians, they'll find other bands, and if they deserve it, like I know these guys do, they'll get their 15 minutes.

To anybody who enjoys this music from this band be for warned. No one in this band is the original members. I used to manage the band when it started out with a couple of my friends playing in a trailer behind Larry Olsen trucking in St. Helens Oregon. Back then a few member got traded out or kicked out and some left....Towards the end there was one band member still left and they kicked him out. This band still plays all the sound the originals wrote and still carries their name.

This band gave me new hope for music nowadays. With all this Lady GayGay bullshit, and Lil' Wayne just getting out of jail, everyones all fucken about rap and gay pop. Its nice to know that heavy music is still alive, and there are people in this world who still appreciate it. LONG LIVE THE METAL!!!!!

@uscmarchingband Yeah. That's one of the things I noticed as I was listening to this is that some vocals sounded like Howard's. I do like KsE. They were one of the first bands that I listened to that were touching into the metal genre, but I do like this band as well. They're pretty good.
