The Red one is amazing. I didn't think I would like the new V10 wheels more than the V8 wheels, but I really do. They look mean and appropriate for the look and sound of the V10 model.

fioranojc i totally agree with you in regards to the rs6 TT in the r8 but i read alot about how they had some heat problems and im sure most have seen what happened at the nurburgring.

i am hardcore audi fan and kinda hate that audi uses some of the lambo tech but they do own lambo so why not dip into the bag of tricks if you have access to it.

I wouldnt say that Lamborghini uses less Audi parts. Remember Lamborghini was a failing company before Audi bought them. Credit Audi for the Gallardo and bringing the standards up and selling more cars than ever before. Lambo interiors used to be horendous prior to to the Audi-Lamborghini partnership.

again i totally agree with you and true Audi has taken lambo to another level in regards to over taking the standards to another level. Love the audi-lambo partnership but it seems i ahve alot of buddies who think lambo is the reason why audi is so great with the R8 & RS6. they are BMW fans and im not surprised to hear them say that because they do feel threatened and realize what Audi has accomplished with the new tech an dbeasts they have been putttin out.

I think it's awesome. The R8 has always sounded incredible, and the 5.2V10s that Audi uses in their S6, S8, and now R8 take it to another level. I like that BMW doesn't have anything in their line-up that rivals this - a plus for Audi.

a4qt the reason it sounds like that is because it has the same v10 as the old gallardo. So you get the lambo sound.

Yes that is absolutely true. Audi owns Lamborghini and in fact, Audi and Lamborghini engineers collaborated on the 5.2 V10 engine. It's a great partnership, Audi benefits from the Prestige, and Lamborghini benefits from Audi's interior quality and large scale production.
