The biggest question of all. What gave you the motivation to "master" this feat?

@lytealight I was 16 years old when I had the idea ( I was 29 years old in the video ). I was just curious what juggling five balls would look like. Plus, I kept accurate notes to learn how fast I learn. It took me from ten to fifteen hours of practice just to improve one second ( I throw six throws each second ).

I learned to juggle 5 balls when I was 16 in a very unique way ( the same way I learned to juggle 3 balls when I was 14 ). I tried to imagine juggling in slow motion. And, the only way I could imagine juggling slower, was to roll the tennis balls up an inclined table. I used my ping pong table.

@149scrat It took me 14 days ( about 2 hours a day ) on an inclined ping pong table. I increased the angle every time I threw 50 consecutive throws or more. When I had the table almost vertical and reached 50 or more, I decided to try to throw it in the air. But, I was happy with only 6 throws. Then, sets of 6 throws. Then, sets of 8 throws, etc.

Hey that's really good!!! But I can only juggle 3 balls.

You can juggle 5 balls if you slowly increase the difficulty. I used an inclined ping pong table to learn to juggle 5 balls. Instead of throwing the balls in the air, I rolled the balls up the inclined table. As I got better, I increased the angle. Most jugglers don't learn this way. This was my own idea. :0)

Good god I can't believe you kept it going THAT long with such a low, wide pattern!!

My advice is to make the pattern higher and not so wide, as this will make it ALOT neater. Also, take more time on each throw as you actually have more time than you think. Follow this advice and your pattern will be better to watch and you will feel more relaxed.

It's not exactly a textbook 5 ball cascade, but there is just something about someone juggling 5 balls that low in slow motion to the rocky theme that's fun to watch.

It also feels like this vid was shot sometime in the 80's which is when I watched most of the rocky films anyway, so I'll consider that a bonus. ^ ^

lol why is it so low!! really needs to be higher up, would give u more time for ur cathces and therefore more time for your throws, which would mean that u could keep the pattern tight. i dont think u would have any problem throwing the balls any higher as juggling 5 balls that low is inredibly hard
