I think the point I was making is not that everyone should go vegetarian. Rather, that if an animal is killed, that an effort be made to make it as painless of a death as possible. Is the fetus still alive inside the shell before it's boiled with these? If so, being boiled alive in it's own shell seems to me to be a pretty awful death...and not instantaneous. I couldn't eat it, mainly because I wasn't brought up eating it. The fact that you can see plainly it is a duck fetus would make my mind reject it as food, I have never had duck or goose meat. I can't even eat whole roasted chicken, it has to be cut up for me to eat it as dumb as that sounds, because if I can relate it as an animal I can't eat it. I have been known to go vegetarian for weeks because of that.

I couldn't eat it, mainly because I wasn't brought up eating it. The fact that you can see plainly it is a duck fetus would make my mind reject it as food, I have never had duck or goose meat. I can't even eat whole roasted chicken, it has to be cut up for me to eat it as dumb as that sounds, because if I can relate it as an animal I can't eat it. I have been known to go vegetarian for weeks because of that.

This maybe 'gross' to you but is like eating a apple or burger to many other people. Try to understand different cultures and look at life from a different perspective. I'm sure there are many cultures that look at the western world and say the same thing about a beef burger (hindu for example)
