  • from every documemtary i watch im finding more and more that science and fiction are slowly beginning to merge together. that anything is possible. what people see is important in life just doesn't compare to the ultimate question and answer "where has everything come from and is there an end". We are a merely catching a glimpse at the much larger picture in the timeline of this universe.

  • hey

  • they found the higgs boson. Tuesday this will be announced to the world that this is infact real and they have hard proof. wow

  • If we can't detect these other dimensions and universes, then why are scientist SO unimaginably sure that there is NO form of conscious external existence in another universe/reality/dimension? How do they know there is no CPE of any form?

  • its bull shit seems liek alot of work

  • The Eastern Mystic Mind is in a better position to understand the Quantum world and parallel universes.

  • @railcoop How can you even bring "mystic" and "quantum world" into one sentence? Silly

  • could there be a parallel universe in which einstein finished his theory before his death?

  • @lovablemein3d Look up the double slit experiment..

  • simply beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Could the parallel universes of Hugh Everett and the multiple dimension of String Theory be future possibilities of what might happen within our one three dimensional Universe? A dynamic Universe that we can interact with creating our own future!

  • Parallel universes, string theories, etc... it's all bullshit.

  • @fierrote Because you can understand the tensor equation, I'm assuming? Then your opinion isn't worth a plug nickle.

  • @mattysimsoficial, oh excuse me...but can you enlighten me with a little bit of your knowledge... and can you please show me real and unrefutable evidence of parallel universes.

  • ...amount of time that it's not in this universe.

  • You can't track a particle so you conclude that is must be blipping in and out of existence. (bullshit concept 1) Then you say that the reason it is blipping in and out of existence is because it's going to other universes. (bullshit concept 2). Finally you suggest that this number of universes is infinite. (bullshit concept 3) Even though this refutes the concept that the reason you can't track it is because it is moving to other universes because by definition it would create an infinite....

  • "It has an extraordinary conclusion. That the universe we live in...is not the only one."

To all pseudoscience assholes who believe string theory verifies the existence of alternate universe...Fucking prove it and stop speaking as if you already have.

    A hypothesis isn't a conclusion.

  • they should have had a peace sign for when they said there was a parallel universe where "you" were never born XD

  • GOD did it.

  • 5:53 theres ur hook

  • This one of the best documentaries ever produced IMO.

  • Light is the potential of an electromagnetic wave. It will be in more than one place at the same time. Light can be detected anywhere along the front of the spherical wave emanating from the source. Light transforms into a particle(electron) when it is measured or observed. The electron transforms or pops into existence inward from the bubble like EM front. Like blowing tiny bubbles in a large one. Atoms are much like EM bubbles. Incoming waves cause them to vibrate like strings, & reflect the E

  • thumbs up for michio figure skating

  • LOL at Michio Kaku skating.... hes pretty good tho lol

  • What if Schroedinger's cat had a stroke in the box and died while the physicist believed it was both dead AND alive until the isotope decayed? Does not seeing the cat make it alive?

I'm sorry. I can't understand why this kind of BS on my final would only get a D- in the real world ... but sets the physics world in ecstatic orbit over dismantling more high energy particles closer to the core of the planet we live on.

Dr. Strangelove, here we come. : \

  • Too bad Einstein isn't around, I would love to hear what his thoughts on this subject would be. Excellent documentary! I love all the haters that are so narrow-minded that they can't open their minds to new ideas. Oh well, that's their loss...

  • @tiestoboi Actually, Einstein died in 1955 and before then expressed some concern about the direction physics was taking in terms of dismantling reality.

  • If this is correct the hadron collider at CERN will destroy the planet.

  • @Graham6762 Even the Manhattan Project was a science experiment; scientists were astonished when the military who funded it said, "Great! Now package it up to drop on people, and we'll be on our way. Thanks guys."

Science has been labelled neutral, neither good or bad. That is until the earth disintegrates, then they want somebody to take the blame - usually a religious group who had nothing to do with it, and really didn't want it in the first place.

  • @kandiamo They thought it would light the atmosphere on fire.

  • @Graham6762 C'mon, no one can say where all those particles went after the experiment. It might just be a chain reaction. Lorenz's butterfly flap?

In CERN's photos of experimental results particles were trapped inside ... except one trail which left the accelerator completely. Where is that subatomic particle now? The super gravitational particle they were looking for but wouldn't stay put? :D

  • String theory is so interesting. It's fascinating how it can explain things from why gravity appears to be a weaker force than electromagnetism to why various particles are shaped differently due to the strings vibrations

  • the biggest bowl of bullshit i have heard in my life...musical strings.. get out

  • @manansis86 obviously an analogy is lost on you.. shame!

  • Michael Dougherty brought me here

  • @Tebay71 Ha, same.

  • if anything that can happen has actually happend - that means that I myself had made love with every pretty girl in the world?! even in teory that sounds great to me :)

  • @SuperLalala23

yeah, but you had also made love with every old, fat and stinky man.

doesnt sound so great now, huh?

  • @ftw6666 lol

  • Anybody know what the song from 1:00 to 3:00 is, I would be very thankful to know :D

  • Can seriously do without all the ridiculous musical attempts at swaying my emotions. Just give us the facts, please.

  • Thanks, "frocdog" for putting the different parts of this documentary on YOUTUBE. The BCC made it difficult to find. You made it easy. Thanks again!

  • Parallel universes are possible, and maybe real, we just call them "imagination". How do we explain through simplified neuron systems this "place" which looks and seems like an entire separate parallel universe in itself, from the laws of physics to the timeline and history?

  • Comment removed

  • amazing!

  • of course these places are real you go there when you dream

  • @houstonTx457000 Yep!!

  • Help me out here: The particles of the 1920's they are talking about in the beginning of the video... they disappeared. I understand that. I also understand mulituniverses - but how did the concept of parallel universes ever come into play out of this?

Meaning: Just because a particle or atom disappears doesn't mean that there is another me or 100 more of me in a parallel. Why can't the particle just go into a totally different universe unlike our own?

*not sure if I'm being clear

  • becase the particle has been found in 2 different places at the same time!

  • @edgaritoaqui i agree. particles always pop up into existence via the wavelike characteristic of particles so i think that parallel universes have to exist.

  • I need a better brain to grasp all this. But my question is where do the questions stop. so we get to the point that we prove m. then wut we prove is nothing more than creating new questions. Where did all these infinate universes come from and where are they all going?

An equally important question to the how did it all happen(u guys are doing a fine job of that) is the WHY??

  • P.S. I'm still - after 27 years of contemplation on the idea - a 7-dimension guy. the rest may exist in mathematical constructs, but - equally - the remaining 4 may be "reflections".

  • @avs002 dont miss density/dimension with universe. different universe is a different matter, different density/dimension is another one. there would be 7 different densities/dimensions in each of these different universes. but, there may be infinite universes.

  • Y'know,

I've been following all this - and read Kaku's "Hyperspace" maybe 10 years ago (he's also a friend on MySpace), but...

...where has it GOT us after all this time? Honestly, it's the Paris Hilton of science.

At an existentialist grassroots level, the gap between M-Theory and the practical real world is so great as to make it meaningless.
