  • Do happen to know how to do this on a Mac running Safari? I can easily download YouTube videos by double-clicking the file in the Activity window, but that trick doesn't work with LiveVideo. I get a giant text file instead.

  • OMg Thank You so much :D Real player wasnt working, so i googled and got your vid :> -glomp hugs you-

  • *hugs back*

  • ^_^

  • Man, It works perfectly!!! Thanks a lot!!!

  • ...so slow

  • I dont get how to download the url

    can anyone help?

  • This method is the best I've known for download flv files, even for those videos that are self-deleted in the caché, is the last and most powerful resource.

    *****

  • wont work on aspx files

  • i converted them to mpeg

  • thank you!

  • Crap I can't download a video because I don't have Firefox on this computer, and can't download it.

Anybody know how to do it on IE?

  • whats the song with the good bass line?

  • Super doesn't recognise it

  • Thanks SO MUCH for this!

  • what download manager should i use

  • any dload manager will do but i recommend wackget

  • ok another question. how come when i try to upload the video i downloaded using thess steps onto another website theres no audio

  • i havent got a clue ....

probably because they don't support (or dont fully support) the uploading of flv files, ...

if you have a flash player on your own site it should take it no problem (take the one with the video backups on my site for example : DLSS . CO . NR/ASU/)

but if you're useing and external service like youtube, myspace video, live video, etc, i advise you try and convert em to avi or something before uploading.

  • i converted them to mpeg

  • I can't seem to figure out how to download the file. I followed the steps but once I get the URL I can't seem to figure out how to download it. HELP!

  • you can usually just go to it with your browser and will be prompted askin if you want to download it.

but if that doesn't work i recommend you use wackget, a free dload manager based on the commandline tool wget.

its small (under 1mb) but verry powerfull and easy.

  • do i need google docs to download the video?

  • noope, i just used that to write the tutorial...

  • very cool. fav'd this, people need to know.

  • thanks <3

  • Thumbs Up. Thank you.
