Thx guys, so yes its carburated, K&N kit. and thats it i guess...i kept it simple because i put alot of mileage on it, and the tork is just perfect. Ok im quite petite, but this bike wasnt built a friday afternoon ;-)
@johhn52 Get a cheap Jap bike for a little while. Bang it up a little get real comfortable then ditch it. Now you will be ready for a $21k bike. Just my opinion.
I lowered the suspension and added a lowering kit. Im 5'4 as you can see my feet are not flat when im relaxed, but when i have to manoeuver i have no problem doing so.
Just put new vance&hines tru duals on my bagger and its unreal. The responce you get from them and the deep sound it sick. Best set of pipes i have ever had.
I love it too!!! I remember when i was riding my sporster, how i wish to have the big engine sound...I've been riding this bagger since '03 and loved every minutes of it! I got MY sound i was looking for :)
Cool bike..I too am a short female and just bought a 2009 Street Glide ..can't decide whether I want to go with Vance & Hines or Thunderheader exhaust..any opinions?
Well I have a thunderheader and my wife has vance and hines. If you're looking for performance and a very deep sound i would go with a thunderheader. V&H are a little higher pitched. Thunderheader sounds mean when you let off at higher rpm too.
What size apes are on there?
