I have these on my street bike. They came with my bike when I bought it, that's why. When they wear out I want to go with a regular street tire, though. I don't use them to their full potential, or even half or a quarter of their potential probably, especially on the street. Only been riding for a year and just on my second bike. Still a little reluctant to lean hard. Have that thought in the back of my mind of tire losing grip and high-siding, although w/ these tires it's not that likely.
only available in 190 rear tires. Kinda sucks. Great grip though. I personally dont like the feedback on dunlops. The geometry is always weird for me. The rear tire is such a flat profile, which I dont like. Ill use them when I get a good deal on them.
i ride michelin on road and dunlop and pirelli on track. and i am happy.... lol but i think that every rider has to see by himself what s good for him and his riding...
and yes guys commuter get OEM tires... DOT = track i repeat DOT = track ....
perfect tires for track not for street. need proper warm up before riding it hard. for guys "street rider/commuter" complains about tire mileage get yourself a OEM tires not DOT race.
anybody have any thoughts about the Dunlop Alpha-10s?
Got mine on a KTM duke 640. Not too impressed with the alpha's unless the road conditions are perfect... And then they are pretty amazing... but a normal trip to the grocery store has me nervous if the tires are not warm. We shall see how they are when the weather warms up....
i have the d209's on my r6 and the center of the rear tire is showing threads after 6000mi (no burnouts ever) next tires i buy imma check out the Michelin PP hopefully they do better than my D's

these Dunlops are brilliant. IVe had different Michelins, Bridgestones and Dunlops. Overall Dunlop has been a better brand.

NTECS are great, the 211's are junk like the 209's.

they ride fucking awesome.
don't rate or talk trash till you try them cornering.
they are great for dragging and high speed corners

i really like the design ideas on this tire.
a strong band to keep it from expanding, and soft sides with a medium middle. awesome.
