I think this is a wonderful video.

There's a paradise bird species that makes, like, a mating area, which the female inspects before mating. After the mating they separate. It's something about him finding pretty things to make it look good. Some males like shiny things and they'll try and find black shiny stones for their area, others like flowers and such. I saw a documentary where a bird stole a Snickers-bar paper from the cameraman to use!

I just saw this show on PBS tonight..pretty amazing. These are birds of paradise in New Guinea.They are actually hunted by the local tribes for their plumage. They are commonly used for headdresses. There are millions of different species of animals in the world...educating yourself is the key in order to know if something is real or fake.

They don't SEEM natural because they're rare, unique birds, probably not in your area. They aren't anything like sparrows or seagulls. They're what you call, tropical birds, like that of a TOUCAN. They're birds of paradise!
