  • the word America, is so irrelevant on this video.

  • Guys stfu. There is no ONE way to make pad thai. There are multiple ways that other people make it because they think it's better. So chill the hell out.

  • this is fake pad thai... i'm thai people

  • I like her sound effects

  • 4:46 sounds like homer simpson

  • it's not that she's making it wrong, this is a different style/recipe

most call for tamarind paste and fish oil, but she's making it differently, i still think that it'll taste good cuz oyster sauce is bomb

  • sa a lair tres bon (the very good food ) !

  • The technique is accurate but the recipe is a quite off since tamarind is what makes the dish pad thai :P

  • why no tamarind paste?

  • I like the way she said Shrimp. Cute.

  • if correct

    1 put oil in too

    2 put noodle in too

3 put TAMARIND. water in too

4 put topicana and suga souch in too

    5 put vegetable in too

    6 put egg in too

    7 finsh

  • Well, even Pad thai is from Thailand but some people have their own recipes depend on how they like. There is no right or wrong way too cook. The original one the we've seen in USA, they use palm sugar, fish sauce , tamarind to cook. After the meal serve , some people add more sugar , peanut, fish sauce, or lemon in their depend on preferences.

Thanks for the video, this might be another delicious way to cook Pat Thai for us.

  • How the hack she put soy sauce and oyster sauce in Pad Thai? That's not what it supposed to be..

  • @ECSMike12 you do realize theres different types of pad thai depending on what region and restaurant/chef style of cooking? I have seen plenty of pad thai where soy and oyster sauce was included.

  • dude were you blazed LOL

  • There is no soy sauce or oyster sauce into Pad Thai. The sauce is made of palm sugar, fish sauce (nam pla), tamarind and water. Her recipe of the pad thai won't taste the same.

  • @Cabocoleman Why are you watching this even though you know what its made of?

  • tofu(silent) hahaha that a good one

  • Nice demonstration. Doesn't pad thai normally have tamarind in it though?

  • they would rather eat stupid white pussies like you .

  • what is your source? the census bureau? the fadStats? or your puny American brain is again being ignorant and yet notice

  • LOL! Don't dare challenge me, you mental midget! Go stir fry a chihuahua HAHA

  • Better to be a quiet fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

  • she does not know how to cook pad thai!!!

  • that was some fun cooking.. LOL!

  • stupid asian bitch....stop giving white people more ideas to make fun of us

  • "not someone who claim to love guns so much but knows nothing and have never open him guns for a proper cleaning". Check your grammar before you start insulting or ranting so you dont sound like a FOB.

  • I'm pretty sure this is a dickhead white guy pretending to be a dickhead asian guy so that other dickhead asian guys will think asians are dickheads.

  • That came out wrong. Nevermind, I'm just being a dickhead.

  • Stupid making white people look so ignorant and pathetic faggot

  • wow how wrong. she had no padthai sauce, all that sauce was sauce you can use to eat any noodles with.

  • I am drooling :P

  • That looks like a great recipe.

  • Agreed, where did she learn to cook? Pad Thai in order: Oil Egg Tofu (meat of choice, traditionally shrimp) Noodles (blanched or with water) Pad Thai Sauce (Palm sugar, tamardin, fish) Sprouts Green Onions Garnish with crushed peanuts, pickled radish wedge of lime on side
  • thanks you're the only one after watching about 5 videos i can get a normal recipe from! :)

  • Now My Turn!

  • Ha--she's very funny...

But, she missed the sour(& hot) component- if you squeeze some lime and sprinkle red chili flakes on finished product it might taste better (or add 1 T. of tamarind juice or vingegar while cooking and if you like it hot add some chili flakes or chili sauce). And if it tastes better to you red, add paprika;)

  • she got the seasoning all wrong. the correct seasoning for traditional pat thai is

    1 part sugar

    1 part palm sugar

    1 part tamarind juice

    2 parts fish sauce

  • she got the seasoning all wrong. the correct seasoning for traditional pat thai is

  • No tamarind juice, palm sugar, tofu, or fine ground red chilies for color?

She takes you most the way....but, not all the way. It's got to be on purpose...

  • did she presoak the rice noodles?

  • Did not have basil...used cilantro. Otherwise, used the same process. Came-out

wonderful. Had leftover stuffed cabbage...used it instead of chicken or pork.

  • Thanks, I did the exact same course with same lady last february, it was a lot of fun. forgot how to make it so glad i found your video. Thanks.

  • Very nice. I just came back from Chiang Mai last month where I took a cooking course, but mine was way different. And honestly, I like mine better, we prepared the sauce from scratch beforehand from tamarind juice, palm sugar, fish sauce and soup stock and threw it in with the noodles instead of water. turned out FANTASTIC, very authentic, if any of you are in Chiang Mai - I LOVE PAD THAI COOKERY SCHOOL. And its cheap too, 800bt for one day with 5 courses.

  • That's interesting. I was always told that authentic pad thai has a little bit of tamarind, chiles, lime, cilantro, and crushed peanuts in it. What's with the OYSTER SAUCE?! o_O This must be a modified version for foreigners, but I believe if you're gonna try ethnic foods, eat authentic versions. That's like American cooks teaching tourists to include curry powder in chili! LOL

  • I think this is fabulous! Having just come back from a Thai Cookery School and Chiang Mai and having regretted not videoing anything this is just great - thank you!!

  • gilluminati, hoisin does not belong in Pad Thai. Ever. And the poseter below is right that Pad Thai traditionally includes tamarind.

  • if you know so much.. why don't you just make your own youtube video.

    lol.

  • i would add chillies, and serve with a slice of lime and hoison sauce.

  • just made it, and eating right now.. delicious!

  • she's pretty funny! nice teaching though.. i think we have many ways to DIY Pad thai. they came out pretty much the same.. just sometimes the way to cook are a bit different. Depends on where you cook it.

  • Sorry to break it to you mate but this is not pad thai. Pad thai relies on tamarind juice which is not used here. Also cutting it up into little bits? This girl was taking the piss out of you.

  • She is so clever. I like her open personality and sound effects. ^0^

  • good video, finally a girl! haha its funny how you said "like for real Pad Thai".

  • This girl is so lovely!

  • i like the way she just goes with the flow. sometimes people from other countries are so forgiving and easy going!

(when she was talking about cutting noodles, i think she was going to say that the chinese have long noodles because they believe that long noodles give long life.)

  • wow, way to argue with the thai chick making thai food lol

  • Great!
