1) back word names

2) Blue skin

They came from versal and replaced the real grandmasters of CWK. The entire storyline is kinda unclear and is probably related to Dr. Karakian. Currently, there are 2 story lines in GMS:

1. Masteria story line- with Versal, Dr. karakian etc

2. Regular story line- related to the black magician

@Stario1Up According to the storyline, they lead enemy forces in Versal before coming over to this world through an umbral orb. All the monsters you fight in CWK and the mountain are what makes up their army, and they're trying to take over Masteria with it.

@arella9977 Yeah, but at the same time these characters aren't just random boss monsters. Margana, the mage boss, is also a play on names from Morgana Le Fay, a Pagan witch. Hsalf is a play on words from the ancient japanese word, pronounced "hisalth" and meaning murder. Red Nirg is a WoW reference. Rellik can refer to "Relic", which could imply that he's old.

Of course, Nexon NA has to appeal to a younger, more immature audience... so leaving them in the dark is pretty easy.

It seems to me that GMS-exclusive areas are just ridiculously stereotyped because of the lack of intelligent analysis that could be provided by would-be players. The community in itself is a turn-off for people like myself who DO care, let alone the weak storylines.
