I strongly support your opinion. I´m from germany and F1 should start on the old Nürburgring again. In the eighties, Stefan Bellof drove on the old Ring with his Maurer F2 nearly as fast as the F1 cars in the mid seventies.

He never said anything about road legal lap. He just put a "Thats right A lap around Nurburgring In a radical SR8." unquote. So for all we know he's just showing us what it's like that's all. By the way that's nice driving.

Impressive... BUT this car was not road legal at the time of the lap, the no plate was on retention at the time and the company had not ever put an SR8 through an SVA test. This lap can not be considered the fastest road car lap as it is a complete lie. Just incase you were wondering it CAN be proved.

Thanks for understanding,but i looked it up about the lap record and the offical record to beat is 6:27.6:11 was the unoffical lap Record.this record was set by the late Stefan Bellof whith a Porsche 956 in 1983 when it was the last time they race at the oringal Nurburgring.
