3:01 mark is the beginning of the “Funny Car” era. In an effort for more traction, the wheelbase of Mopars was shifted forward by Dick Landy. It gave an unorthodox appearance phrasing funny car at local drag strips.
Little known fact, FM also raced and wrenched his drag car as well.
@Hawkeye3001 Sadly, it may never take place, but if we could get back together, pull off the logistics of it, we could do a concert and roll tape on it and I could put that soab on here and do those song live that everyone seems to want to 'see' performed. The SGs are ready and there will be no confusion about what kind of power amps will be used. There's only one way for sure to get that tone.
Good song!. About time i find the good shit..To many people on youtube put the same shit on..Its like i don't want to hear im a king bee babe,''even from frank.. This is him just jamming!
This is about my favorite song from the least-appreciated guitarist that rock and roll has ever seen. Frank Marino is a pure genius. He plays with the best of the best. He is as good a song writer as he is a musician. And if you ever get lucky enough to meet the man, you will see what a sweet and sincere human he is. He is one in a million. I just wish this giant of a man could get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he belongs! Keep rockin', Frank, and THANK YOU!!!
I got this album when i was 16 by mistake from the columbia record club...At 1st i was like wtf then i played it and Frank just blew my freakin' mind!!!!!!
kick ass video! Mopar or no car! I've had at least 50. Your one dislike must be disgruntled bow tie owner, cause no one can dislike Mahogany Rush!
