  • When you don’t know what true for you, everyone else has unusual influence.

Values are deeply held personal beliefs that form your own priority code for living.

Values are the individual biases that allow you to decide which actions are true for you alone.

    What are your values?

  • I hadn't thought of McDonalds primary customer being their franchisees, but it does make sense.

  • Outdated thinking. What would he say about the Googles and the IKEAs of the world? That they don´t care about their employees? Their customers? That they are not profitable? If forced to choose (i.e. in a really critical situation) all companies have to survive, and so they prioritize the bottom line. However, I think that the "choose and stick with" mindset is damaging to any organization. The rest was not new (like the "imagine the worst case scenario), but I´m sure that the book will sell.

  • Very useful analysis. Like the customer and consumer concept.
