Why do people like this so much despite it being merely 8-bit? Because of the Harmonic Chromaticism (Applied Dominants and Modal Mixture), as well as the mostly stepwise descending/ascending bass line.
i have the one i bought the day it came out but the memories chip is like busted so i cant save, i bought i replacement and keep my original in my nostalgia chest. :D
