@xvik1234x The foundations she uses isnt always goin to match the skin, it doesnt have too. An seen as this is a look based on vanessa hudgens who has a darker skin tone to tanya i presume thats why she's got a lil darker with the look. And as if it matters! its blended into the neck thats wat counts.

@xvik1234x she does always explain that if she is doing a look for someone who has a darker skintone she will use a colour that is darker than for her so u can see the effect she is trying to get, she doesn't need to make excuses when she has already told you her reasoning

yea it wasnt so much the sound as just the way she said it,(I understand she multi tasking ) but for the most part I hear her if I put the volume on 100 .....thank you tho :) I love the gloss, well ON her pefect lips haha

nissepeices: No problem. :-) It's one of my favourite glosses too so I would definitely check it out. Keep in mind though that it is a Plushglass so it has that tingley feeling on the lips that some people don't like. I'm sure it would look good on you. :-)

Pretty, but your foundation doesn't match at all!

jsd97: Because Tanya is doing a celebrity inspired look she is using a darker foundation to give a better idea of this. She did explain that. She wouldn't necessarily use that shade of foundation in her everyday makeup application, although she could if she could get her ears and neck to match colourwise. Makeup artists do use bases to pale skin out or tan it up. It's perfectly acceptable to do so.

i have heard people raving about maybelline's dream matte powder as being a cheaper alternative to mac's mineralize skinfinish natural. i do not know how it photographs but it's supposedly a similar finish. maybe you can try that out!

Revlon has a mineralize skin finish thats almost exactly like mac's, the only problem is that it photographs as if you're very oily :/ but it's beautiful for everyday wear :)
