  • More guys watching this than women.

  • wow i got here by watching tampon war of shimmy's vlogs.... O.o

  • what happens when my buttcrack bleeds!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FOREVER ALONE

  • How did i get here O.o

  • Why did I just watch this o.O I'm one curious guy...

  • how long can i were my tampon for?

  • @594JLP You should change it every 4-6 hours. On the box it says up to 8 hours, but I wouldn't recommend that.

It just depends on your flow.

  • Thank you!!!!!!!!!!(:

  • Just shove it up there

  • Does it hurt?

  • @UggBugg678

As long as you do it correctly it wont.

  • umm so when u put ut in and ur fingers touch the skin , do u push the stick thing and doesnt it make it go really far up then ? further then normal tampons? thx

  • @itzcookieluva No, you have to put it in the position to allow it to go far enough.

If you don't if will feel uncomfortable. It does seem like it's far, but it's really not.

  • thankz so much ive had so many troubles with this

  • "Thnnx a lot ...u answered all my questions

  • what the fuck am i watching?

    i'm a guy...

  • @israeljew2220 .......then why are you WATCHING IT???

  • @israeljew2220

half these views are probly from guys ... i am guy also

  • No flushing use the box on the wall labelled napkin disposal or if you're at home use toilet

  • You're not supposed to flush down tampons...! They will clog the toilet >:(

  • how old were u when u started ur.

  • In Australia i've never seen the tampons with the 'applicator'. We dont have them, the 'applicator' ones look so much easier, haha

  • @ksmithkboswell I have had the EXACT same problem as you. Today, whilst shopping I went and looked and there ARE some. Libra is the only brand I've seen and know of that do them. They are a small blue box and the only downside is that they only come in regular and super. (PS; I got mine in Coles, but I HAVE seen them in Woolies) Goodluck!

  • thank you! :)

  • Im in 6th grade and im turnning 12 on the 27 and in the bathrooms there is a thing where u put 25cents in a machien for tampons and i hold when i go pee till the end of the day and if i went durning class and my teacher would get mad and my blood might leak out of my shorts and others might notice. And i ONLY use pads cus im scared of having the tss. And im still confused of how to put a tampon in after seeing like, 20 vids

  • @BBandBekka

Your teacher has no right to be mad, if ya gotta go, ya gotta go. If you need to go, pull your teacher aside and explain that you're on your period. They'll understand.

I don't recommend the tampons that are in machines. Those usually have cardboard applicators, or they just aren't good quality.

As far as TSS, I included more info on that in the bottom bar.

I'm sorry that you're still confused, just keep trying and it will happen eventually :)

    Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX

    O.K thank you! :)

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX

Thanks! and um... ughhhh I forgot... OH YEAH! UM... what if u push a tampon too far in the vagina? And Is KOTEX a good Tampon brand?

  • @BBandBekka I use U by kotex, I really like those.

You cant really push it to far in, and if you do you can kinda reach in and pull it out.

I have another video in the bottom bar, and as a video response that answers some more questions, if you haven't checked it out yet.

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX okay thanks! :)

  • Question ! [x

    i Love The Video .

But , i've Always Used Pads Instead.

I'm Kind of Scared The String of The Tampon Will RIP.

But, I'm Wondering what Absorbs More ?

i HATE Using Pads , When i Go To School ' And i have Gym, It Annoys Me, It Moves Around And Gets Uncomfortable. i Understand That Some Tampons Are made Especially For Sports ? if You Have Ever Used Them, Please Tell me if it Works ?

  • @OfficialUNICORNS I've used the sport tampons. I believe they're by Playtex.

My favorite is the U by Kotex, those are comfortable.

The string will be fine. I have a newer video answering more questions and talking about that, link is in the bottom bar. & it's a video response.

  • Tss is cause due to your body absorbing the bleach and chemicals they put in the tampons...

  • @sark331 Actually once you have a tampon in for a long period of time and there is a lot of blood and it is about 8-10 hours old, bacteria develops and you get poisoned from the blood basically. TSS is a bacterial infection, specifically caused by Staphylococcus aureus, or streptococcus. Atleast that's what I learned in my anatomy class. TSS isn't only caused by tampons.

  • last time i tried, it got stuck..

  • Love this before i didnt knwo what TSS was and without that i could have hurt my body or something worse this video helpped me learn about TSS :]

  • How do I know if my flow is light, regular or heavy :S ?

  • @hockey1233dance light should be little splats of blood on your pad not much blood on it reglar should fill about half of the pad or abit less and heavy is alot of blood almost the whore thing or ight it can take up too 4 hours or a whole day for the pad to be full relgar should take about 2-3 hours for it to fill and heavy should take about 1-3 hours for it to fill or something :]

  • @ JILLy333ful

Why can you flush a tampon :P ???

  • @hockey1233dance It depends what type of septic system you have really. I'm not sure how all that works, but at my house we can with no problem. Some people can't though.

  • R u sure it doesnt hurt??

  • @zoe080700 I'm sure lol.

It might feel a bit uncomfortable at first, but it shouldn't hurt.

  • DON'T FLUSH TAMPONS!!!!!!

  • I use U by Kotex too! I find it more comfortable then the other. And thanx for the advice!! I also love your accent!

  • i am 12 and this is my thirs time but i never put one in should i ask my mom for help or what? And I like the accent!!! :)

  • @TheSmarty908

That's up to you. Since you are kinda young you might want to talk to your mom about it first, and she can take you to the store and help you find what is right for you.

  • I've been trying to use one for awhile now and still haven't gotten it but I'm using the cardboard ones and I think that's why. Now I know I need to use plastic applicators. Thank you so much

  • Thank u!!!! That helped me A LOT!!!!!!!! :D

  • Do you know what the one of the slimmest tampons would be? And I like your video :D

  • No it's not your accent I have one to I think it's because your nose is just stopped up. Sorry js.

  • @autyandkami Idk lol.

  • I'm sorry but your voice is ANNOYING.

  • @autyandkami

Sorry? Lol I can't help what my voice sounds like. A lot of people actually compliment me on my accent.

  • Im starting 7th grade this year, and ill be having to get dress in front of everyone and i asked my mom if i can start using tampons she said yes. But im pretty scared because I never used one before like does it hurt? Can u try it when your off your period? And like idk where to really insert it.... Im 12

  • OKAY so I'm 12 and this will be my second period and I have a swim camp that week. So when you put it in for the first time it doesn't hurt? And what brand is the most comfortable? Reply plz :]

  • @HoppingButterfly It wont hurt if you do it correctly, and I like U by kotex or Tampax pearl.

  • I haven't actually started my period yet and I turned thirteen last may. Should I be worried? But I have heard people say if you play alot of sports it won't come as soon and I play five. Please reply.

  • @smoore131 No you should im thirtteen most girls start their period from the age of 9 years old to the age of 16. But you should go to your doctor and tell him/her that you havent had your period and your thirteen? and their find out ALOT of girls all over the world. are going threw what you are atleats half of the girls in the world havent started their period and sya their 13 14 15 years old and its okay just go tell your doctor i think its a hormone? i dont remember

  • This is a very informative video. I wish that I had it when when I first tired to use a tampon several years ago.

  • ok im 13 nd just started using tampons a few days ago....wen i sleep i put in a tampon...can i get TSS while i sleep or not?? please reply if u can

  • when you put the tampon in how much of a angle do you put it in you virgina

  • K... so like the last time I had my period... i couldn't get the tampon in. It actually hurt and I tried about 10 times, all different ways. I tried different angles, and 2 different kinds of tampons, and still no luck :(

    Any advice???

  • i'm 11 and i tried it. it didn't hurt at all but i pulled it slowly out. and i wasn't on my period.

  • Comment removed

  • i always thought you just line it up then push the applicatior ahah but now i know to only push it when your fingers reach

  • My peirod is a very big or high what ever u call it my mom said I can us tampons but why kind shoul I use?

  • @mh2000morgan she reccomened tampax pearl for the first time i just got my period this month and im going to try that out(:

  • Wait so how often do we change the tampons? And why don't you just wear pads? Sry I'm 11 and I just watched the period video for girls at school a few weeks ago and they didn't say anything about tampons just pads! Plz elxplain (I just started my period so that's why I'm here)

  • So if your a virgin you should NOT use a tampon?

  • @Blazesoftball3212 You can still use one, you shouldn't have any trouble.

  • so if we go to school do we like bring 1 extra or more ????

  • @adenari24 Yea, I usually keep about 2 or 3 in my purse.

  • O_O that click tampon kinda blew my mind XD i was like gah i hate tiny tampons i cant put em in x,x

  • I just got my period and i was just wondering, do you have to use the plastic part or can you take it out then put it in with your bare hands? This video was ALOT of help. thanks :)

  • @cooloctpous11 You can buy tampons without the plastic applicator, but trust me, the applicator makes it so much easier.

  • This was so informative and easy to understand I managed to put in a tampon on my first try...and I'm a dude!

Just messing lol, good luck girls

  • This was a lot of help! I've tried using tampons before but i wasn't using them correctly and i'd give up after so many tries. But this video answered my questions of what i was doing wrong and i was able to succcessfully use a tampon after watching this. Thank you so much!

  • Nevermind my mom said it's probably cuz my flow wasn't very heavy xD

  • @Sydniluvsbieber

Yes I am. And is it bad if I tore it?? Lol or is that regular?

  • @Paper88Moon are you a virigin because you have a cover on you vagina called a hymen and you probably tore it

  • @Sydniluvsbieber she didnt lsoe it to a tampon and yes it does have a cover but tampons arent suppost to tore anything it can't go in that deep from a guy part lol but and it should be pretty small fince most girls young girls anyway are virgins and use tampons so the hole should be abit smaller or maybe her vagina is abit tight

  • Help please.... I've tried for the first time today to put one in but it hurt!!!!!! I put it at a angle and everything! What am I doing wrong?

  • Jbigfan is it true that U by kotex is easy to take out ?? Plz answer back :)

  • i like the U by kotex the best so far(: they're easier to take out and easy to hide in your purse since they're so small haha(:

  • i like the U by kotex the best so far(: they're easier to take out and easy to hige in your purse since they're so small haha(:

  • @DogaRule765 oh i forgot, you can go # 2 as well with it.

  • @DogsRule765 It only hurts to pull it out if your flow is not heavy because it's dry. Yes you can go #1 , just hold the string out of the way.

  • I have a question...what inspires someone to make a tampon instructional video? If someone wonders why I'm watching this, it's because I typed in "how to use" in the search and "how to use a tampon" was the first suggestion and I was curious to how many videos could there possibly be...there are a lot haha

  • Sorry I have 2 more questions, does it hurt when pulling it out? And can you go number one and two with it?! Sorry for the questions :$

  • This video is so helpful! Thank you so so much, I have 2 quick questions. One, my flow isn't that heavy but I want to wear a tampon cause pads bother me like you wouldn't believe it! I have the U by Kotex tampon the one you featured in this video (regular) and I was wondering would it be painful if I were to insert a tampon even though my flow isn't heavy? I go in the pool a lot to but my flow isn't as heavy :S Another thing this the plastic hurt when it goes in?

  • i thought you were supposed to change it every time you went to the bathroom

  • Helped a little thanks (:

  • I'm 15 and I am still super scared to put one in! But my mom told me dudes dicks go up there and 8 pound babys come put so a half inch tampon isn't that scary :/ but I'm still nervous! Thanks for the video it helped a lot!

  • @paperxangelx95 LMFAO you kinda sound mor elike a 12 yr old or so and yes it can be very scary but a tampon doesnt streach you open like a dudes dick or a child :]

  • How do u no wer ur hole is I'm only 12 and lik just got mine but can't stand pads

  • @MegaOreo7

Before you decide to use tampons you might want to make sure it's okay with your mom, or your gaurdian.

What might help is using a mirror to find it, or just feeling around. I know it might seem gross, but it helps you get familiar with your body.

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX o and which one would u think i should go with i really wanna use u by kotex click tampons but maybe their abit to wide im a beinger so should i use kotex or small skinny ones?

  • When you put it in, which way does it angle? Like the left or the right?

  • @Sillygoose1997

I kinda aim toward my spine. Not exactly, but in that direction.

  • CARDBORD TAMPONS SUCK! thumbs up if you agree.

  • @misscaitlyn100 thanks!

  • i have not used one yet and im scared to it sounds creepy but i cant find where to put it and it looks weird help for advice please

  • @LovelyLucyLizzard

I know that it can be scary and at first it is hard to find where it goes.

If you are unsure you can wait until you're more comfortable. You might try using a mirror. I know it sounds weird, but it could help you find where it goes lol.

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX LOL that coment halpped alot i fount it and the hole but it looks soo small i mean how can a tampon go in there and it doesnt look so deap and it looks like there r musules idk how u spell it hahah

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX i was thinking of putting it in befor my period so i can practice and not get all bloodly right away and know whats going on but do you think i should? cuz ima just gonna keep it in for about a min or less then take it out then try again so i get the hang of it?

  • @LovelyLucyLizzard II started using tampons jusy a few days ago, pobably have used 4 or 5 tampons in my life the first time it took me 1hour minuted next time 20 and now i don't even have to look! you really ust play around "poking" the tampon under the pee whole if you get what i say and then magic it will go in, you won't even realise it,and yes the mirror is so confusing like where is something the size of a tampon gonna fit but just play aarpung i guess

  • this might be a stupid question but.....i keep trying to put in a tampon but its like it wont go anywhere! do i need to push it in harder! i really dont know.....so pleaasee get back to me by like friday! p.s- i am using the kinds without the applicator.....do the ones with it help? - thannkss!!(:

  • @GymDancer288 Yes, get the applicator. Its makes it alot easier.!

  • @GymDancer288

The ones with the applicator are a lot easier. You might want to try to put it in at a different angle if it's not going in. That happens to me sometimes.

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX thank you so much!

  • I'VE BEEN SHOT!!!!!!!

  • good

  • @amandagurlie

Well, I remember when I was 12 I tried wearing tampons I believe. It would still work the same. This is something that you might want to discuss with you mom first because of your age though.

You might also want to start out with a lighter absorbency.

  • my step bro says he likes ur accent (weird)

  • ugh i really hate my cardboard ones. i need a new kind

  • Is TSS common?

  • @MegAndFriends2

Its relatively rare from what I've read.

I'm putting a new link in the description for more information on TSS.

  • I just got my period and I tried those stupid wooden tampons and holy cow did it ever hurt! I couldn't get it in!!!!! I thought I wasn't normal till I saw you talking about it! Lol, I realize I'm not the only one! Anyways the free sample of u by KOTEX came to my house and I just wanted to know does it hurt when you pull it out?

  • @DogsRule765

It shouldn't hurt as long as enough blood has soaked into the tampon. The first few times it might feel a little uncomfortable, but just keep trying, and it will get easier.

  • LMAO

  • @NoelleWillKillYOU

    Yes? lol

  • where did you get the U by kotex from ????? pleaseeeee respondddd

  • you were almost right toxic shock syndrome is caused by Bacteria growing in the blood in the tampon and that bacteria (usually staph) gets into your blood stream and can cause major problems like organ failure. Toxic shock is most commonly caused by tampons but can be caused by other things.

  • @musiclover73408

Thanks, thats good to know :)

I knew it was something like that, just couldn't get my thoughts right lol.

  • Thank you so much that helped alot but the only thing is I am very embarrassed by this subject and I will not ask my dad because he is a man and he is not very bright and my mom will make a big deal out of it and tell every body and I am a heavybleeder and pads arnt working how do I ask her or how can I get some she already knows im on my period I am just not very close to her and I am just so scared to ask her help me plzzz!!!

  • Thanks sooo much wat wld happen if the strings do break off of the tampon should the person have to go to the doctor ?????

  • how long do u keep the tampon in?? PLEASE RESPOND!

  • @hammond660 It depends how heavy your flow is. I usually change every 2-3 hours. After a while you just know when to change and you don't even have to think about it.

  • @hammond660 2 our 4 hours

  • wat happens to a guys penis if he fucccs a girl wen shes on her period????

  • @trigger670 it would get bloody.. very bloody

  • @trigger670

It would just get some blood on it.

It's nothing to worry about really. Some guys don't mind it, and some do. It's all about personal preference.

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX okk... cant get any infectionn???

  • Wat r the best tampons that u recomend?

  • @hootie096 I love the U by Kotex.

Tampax pearl is a good brand too.

  • We have the same accent!

And this video is very, very helpful.. :)

  • @panicatthesierra I watched some of your videos, and we do lol.

  • Uhm if your in swimming and the water kinda someway goes up to the tampon will the blood like...go in the water? LOL its a kinda stupid question but im kinda scared......LOL does it hurt when it touched ur hymen? in annyway? LOL

  • @jordansparks15 It's not a stupid question lol. Some water might soak up into the tampon, but it's fine. The blood will not leak out into the water. Even if some did it wouldn't be enough to even notice.

and no, It doesn't hurt to wear a tampon if you insert it correctly.

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX okay thanks :)

  • This helped so much thanx:D

  • Can like the string break????

  • @imsrryhesmine I have been using tampons for years and years and they have never broke. It's is extremely unlikely and even if it does, you could still get it out.

  • @imsrryhesmine The string is very well-attached. No worries about it breaking, just remove it gently.

  • if youre a virgin will it hurt when you put the tampon in ? I've been wanting to use a tampon but I'm kinda scared

  • @tiffipooh2 There shouldn't be any discomfort if you put it in the right way. I was scared to at first, but don't be scared to try it.

  • This helped so much thanks.-3

  • wait yes you can... you can put a tampon in for like 8 hours max.

  • @mllluvsshopping331 it's not the best idea though lol.

  • This video helped alot! Thank you but what if u put it in straight what will happen???

  • @Awing96xxo

It will just feel uncomfortable, and you will have to remove it. Sometimes it can be difficult to remove if your flow is light.

  • Thanks This helped a lot........

  • What about taking them out? Does it hurt?

  • @MACstar17

No it doesn't at all. Sometimes if you have a really light flow, and the tampon hasn't soaked up much, you might feel a little discomfort because it's dry. Don't panic, just relax and pull it out slowly.

  • thanks.. the best video!!

what make would you recommend?... and also, what should i wear when i go swimming on holiday?

    thanks xx

  • @hockeylovemania

The kind I've been using lately is called "U by Kotex" it comes in a black box, and the tampons are different colors. The easiest to use when you first start out is Tampax Pearl.

Just put a tampon in to go swimming, it will be fine. Don't worry about leaking.

  • How old were you when you first started using tampons? My pireod is very hevy and Pads aren't doing the trick..

  • @AGstudiosAG I was 13 I think. Maybe 14. I wanted to before then but my mom didn't want me to because of the risks. I eventually talked her into it because I hated pads so much. If you have a heavy flow tampons can sometimes leak though. Just make sure that you change very often.

  • @XxSaRaNiCoLexX Thanks Soo much! :D

  • ur not supposed to flush em bc it will clog the tank thats wat they told me

  • @rawrblahso That is true, some tanks it will clog, but most won't. Tampons are designed to be safe to flush. You should never flush the wrapper or the applicator though. If you don't want to flush them you just have to wrap it up in some toilet paper and throw it away. I always flush mine, but you have to do what works best for you.

  • That helped alot(:

  • Lol I got the message u sent me (my phone won't let me reply :( ) (I do YouTube on my iPhone) and thanks for the advice :) a video might help, but only if you wanted to do one :)

    Thanks again!!

  • Might b a little tmi, but how would u do a tampon with out an applicator? Thanks :)

  • thanks it helped

  • you really explain it:) thanks

  • thanks for the tips

  • @dancingqueen95101 You're welcome! Hope I helped :)
