they are getting sued because of a few patents, and I think the main one is actually just how you scroll (I know right? but the main thing is that apples patents are very very broad ad general so basically they are monopolizing and the other companies are trying to stop it)

10.1 is based on 3.1 and has been optomised for it. I don't think they have had as much time to fine tune their Touchwiz with 3.2 and whatever chip they are running. Funny how they only mention that these new devices are dual core and wont say what processor it is. Guessing it's not Tegra. Personally think Tegra is rubbish

I love Samsung displays. I have an LEDTV series 8....the high def is jaw droppingly beautiful. The AMOLED on my Captivate displays images so crisp and clean...love it. Captivate is getting old tho, so I might replace it with the Note when it comes out.
