  • The first thing you do is get your vehicle to a shop of your choice. Ask your friends for a recomendation. The first question to the body shop is, are you a preferred shop for insurance companies.  If they say yes run. You need to make clear to the shop you are the boss and you want your vehicle returned to pre loss condition. And you want to be notified of any repair procedures that the insurance company is trying to push on the shop. the shop is the PRO, not the insurance adjuster
